Freakyhair
I got respect for SUOMI in RS. But seriously guys if you take a look at what it must be doing to their lives, it's pretty scary. I saw a post a few 10s of pages back from paperbag, ended up saying about suicide. Some people were saying 'nice one' and stuff like that. Guys its prety dodgy really. You know that RuneScape like that is a massive form of escapism that eventually screws people over.. if anyones got time you should watch this i think its fairly good representation, in anime form  i cant actually find a good example to be honest.. but guys, how can you not think playing 16hours a day isn't harmful?? you can't work, you can't really cook yourself proper meals, you can't study, go to school, do anything, have friends.. i dunno it just seems crazy to me. i have hiccups of playing 10hrs for 2 days or so, and i feel like crap, i don't get anything done and then i realise it's just a dumb ass game. im probally gunna give my account away tbh. i wanted to boss hunt but apparently you have to grind for 200+hours which is just uber sad in my books. think what you could do. Apparently it takes around 20,000 hours to get 200m in everything, and that's a pretty liberal estimate. It might well be in the 30,000 range. There's a book they told us about at our old school about how it takes 10k hours to master something. the beatles apparently only played together 10k hours, and well.. yeah.. 10,000 hours spent on a stupid video gamew is just heartbreaking for me to see. and i know a lot of these players are depressed, do you think playing more RS will help?? what do you think is going to happpen when these players eventually realise how meaningless 200m in all skills really is. Runescape is their life.. I dunno, you can't deny that..

Doing what you Enjoy isnt something you should do for 70% of the day, even. Because playing music is real, not a game. It's also considered a job, it earns you keep and money and serves society. Playing RuneScape constatnly does none of that. It's also not pysical. And the Beatles wouldn't have played 16hours per day because it's impossible to have what is considered a normal life putting that much time into something. Look if you can;t see what's wrong with playing 16hours a day then.. [cabbage] you needs to go to a psychiatrist. Imagine what you're parents think, you're sitting in front of a screen for 16hours a day. What about getting a wife, and a family? How would you suppport that. Same for parents who play on RS - incredibly irresponsible.. also yeah, I'd reckon that p[laying 16hours a day is harming 2 people - your parents. At least, or your friends. Everyone should work. Plus I know that a lot of people don't enjoy grinding, they enjoy the reward. Also to post above ^^^ I think it's a good thing to do if it makes people play slightly less RS. I personally think they should put a limit of 24 hours a week.

Are they going to be expected to work, even if they want to, when they don't have the ability? Also, If you don't enjoy grinding, this is the wrong game for you. Using Agility potions or scrolls with an Abyssal lurker is also best, as you can completely remove your chance of failing obstacles. Thai_tong
Well I assumed it takes 1 hour, 90secs a floor, idk if this is too fast, it shouldn't be for 5:1 + doorstand/cosmics. @ 60 prestige you probably get like, 500 xp a floor avg? So maybe 25k, again i'm not experience enough with DG, whether ppl @ 120, would C1 1-29 or 1-39 or even 1-35.OK just to show the xp/hr fishing in dungs needs to be for it to be better than barb cutting fish with urnsTurns out to be 42k/hr this is if you only fish when you would normally be rushing. If you do C2 small instead of C6 large then fishing has to be 111k/hr in dungeons is the unreasonable? Also 34k/hr if you do barb + dropping+ urnsNote that this excludes the xp gotten from activities in the dungeon if you weren't fishing proof[hide]If you fishing while your team slows down your xp rate 5k from 25 to 20 (27.5 to 22 with tokens) then 1 hour of fishing in dungeons getting F fishing xp iis worth 22/27.5+ F/100 hours Barb fishing for 1 hour you get 100k fish, 7.6k agility and strength and 12.7k coooking that is worth100/100 + 7.6/72+ 7.6/80+ 12.7/700= 1.22 hours skilling If dungeoneering fishing is better then22/27.5 + F/100 > 1.22F > 42k AND for regular barb droppingwithout urns 60k/hrm with urns 72k/hr same as before dung is worth 22/27.5+ F/100 hours fishing is worth72/72+ 5.5/72+ 5.5/80= 1.145 hours 22/27.5+ F/100 > 1.345F> 34k [/hide]

Freakyhair
I know I'm not meant to discuss this, and this'll be the final thing I write. But I wrote a thing a few pages back about why talking about the real life implications should be a part of the discussion of somebody attaining 200m in all skills but whatever. I'm genuinely not trying to troll, it's just sad to see posts like some peoples who obviously arn't happy with their lives possibly because of the ammount of RuneScape they play. I can't sit back and see people talking about suicide and others egging them on to get zs much exp as is humanly possible. But whatever, maybe I should make a topic for this? And the guy above me is right, I'm far from jealous. But yeah SUOMI is gunna get it first. I swear agility and mining exp are almost 2 of the slowest per hour? Oh and fishing! At some point Allar and the others with almost all buyables and combats are gunna stall and SUOMIs gunna zoom :shades:
Vex
Either go and study psychology or drop the subject. All i can say is, game addiction is going to be big business in the years to come. Everyone needs purpose in their life, and if you currently don't have a purpose, MMO's provide that temporarily. http://www.[Caution!
