My god, I dont know how you people train dungeoneering. This is ridiculous. I hate it so *bleeping* much. Just trying to get 99 is making me so cranky and just want to throw my computer on the ground and... ugh!!!!! Teaming with friends or soloing, no matter what it is, its all horrible.

 

I'm honestly thinking about using effigies from 99 and afterward on dung because I just cant *bleeping* stand it. I'm only getting 99 atm so I can wear the maxed cape when it comes out.

 

I can put up with 99 since its only 2-3 weeks but its still incredibly tough for me. There is no way on earth I can get 120/200m dg unless there is some major change to its training. Its just not possible for me. I'd rather be dead. (Yeah yeah I know you all dont like to hear that but its true)

 

Oh and lay off on the Suomi trolling (the post above). We all know Drumgun isnt even going for all 200ms anyway. At least not as of now.

You could try joining DGS...we are always looking to teach new people and if you learn to key well, you should have absolutely no problem getting 200m in dg(if you are a great keyer, dg ming be the easiest 200m bar cooking with brawlers).

anyway paper using effigy on dg isnt a bad idea u'd get more overalll exp/effigy and if you solo then ur treating it as a slow skill anyway so the time saved would be more for you .

 

 

and you can definately get that lvl 99 :D

I can no longer resist posting ! After having stumbled across TIF and this thread itself yesterday) , I've just been infatuated with it. Having read through 100+ pages of this thread sofar ( I intend to read through all of it eventually), I find page after page to be full of enthralling content, whether it be Langer's weekly update on the top 15 , Xensure's optimal slayer list calculations or posts by the top players themselves.

 

I personally admire anyone who not only has the ambition to go for all 200ms, but has the ability to also stick to it- to be have the determination and will power to grind (through certain non buyables) when the going gets tough.

 

I can not convey how much this thread in itself has lifted my motivation when it comes to RS. I may not have what it takes to shoot for all 200ms, but atleast it drives me more to complete my personal goals ( maxing total/200m buyables + DG/Slayer).

 

Here is to many hours of Pie Baking whilst reading ( and hopefully contributing to) this fantastic thread !

Sorry to bring this up again but it's actually a good idea - listening to the keyer on skype might help paperbag with other stuff than just dungeoneering too.

 

Random question to bring this post slightly back on topic: Collateral dg exp from 200m fish in C2 dungeons, or is that a stupid question/its negligible?

If you could get 15k fishing exp and 600 dg exp per dungeon you'd get 8m dungeon exp from 200m fishing - 4% of 200m. Idk if that's significant or not though.

I did some C2 small testing as if I had soemone completing the dungeon and someone moving the ggs to fishing spots. For 4 dungeons I got 322k/hr, 301k, 306k and 296k That was time only spent fishing.

The way I did the timing was:

Dont start the timer until clearing all rooms

Go to first fishing spot and start the timer

Stop the timer when I depleted the resource and go to 2nd spot (as if I had just teleported there)

Start timer and fish at 2nd spot, if inventory fills I stop the timer and drop the fish (if you drop properly while fishing you dont lose any time)

And repeat that

 

All my fish were salve eels or blue crabs.

 

In reality it would be slower but I'm sure you can get 200k/hr this way

I decreased the xp by 100k anyway I thought that was reasonable.

I've done what I can to test it I hoped people would appreciate that I cant do more than that. You can do some testing yourself instead of trolling my results. I wasnt going to use those figures in any calculations

 

Which of the top 15 said that 200m in all was not their goal?

You don't get a GG in C2, the leader is the ggs.

 

You are most likely to finish the floor in a C2 before fishing spots are fished out.

 

If you want to just fish for xp, do floors 1-4/5 and repeat since they have the easiest bosses I guess. You could also technically leave floor before boss and do that over and over.

 

C2 solo is around 90k fishing per hour @ 6minutes avg floor/8-9k xp. 30-35 C2's per reset. (That's a 6minute avg including the furnished floors)

 

Or you can C2 duo w/ one person's shared turned off. Either - finish floor as soon as boss is dead, or wait out the fishing spots. That's obviously depends on your partner and whether your priority is doing more dg floors asap. C2 Duo will take around an hour longer than 5:1 C1, so you can pay them appropriately, say the 2m spent on them with their xp turned off, you could earn back in that time.

 

There are several approaches of using the C2 method, which is what makes it relatively interesting I guess. IF C2'ng all the way to 200m dg you could expect A lot of fishing xp at the cost of only around 1 hour per reset using xp off duo method.

I don't know a lot about dg so excuse me if there is an obvious answer. Why are C2 samall better than C2 large? I would have thought there were just more fishing spots in the larger dungeon with a similar room:fishing spot ratio.
