200M in all Skills

Makilio

Recommended Posts

What would have been cool is if someone made a goal to get 200m all skills in 2007, never played any updated content, including training new skills and they were to come out of the wood work having completed their goal. 200m all skills (all being true of when they started).

Of the top 15, who do you reckon could ever reach 200m all? I think Dapledo, Duffy, Jake and Jdela all stand a chance of getting there eventually. Maybe not Dapledo since he's a proven quitter.

Since 07scape is definitely coming out and since there will be players going for 200m all there as well we should start looking at top xp rates for 07scape.

I'll start off. Hopefully with methods feasible without the GE and trading via trade worlds/forums.

To my knowledge:

Agility - Dorgesh-Kaan

Construction - Mahogany tables is still the fastest xp rate

Combat (melee) - Zombie monkeys are the best xp rate. Prayer gear/salve ammy/super sets/prayer pots

Cooking - sharks is the fastest xp rate. 07 Forum trading made cooking a cheap skill still.

Crafting - cutting gems is the fastest xp rate. Realistically probably crafting unstrung gold ammies, which can be sold to lunar mages, which can be sold to alchers.

Farming - Trees/special/herbs

Firemaking - Magic logs

Fishing - fly fishing while dropping or barb fishing it was released

Fletching - stringing magic longs (u)

herblore - best potion that doesn't lose too much of a profit (unid herbs make herb cleaning impractical)

hunter - sallys (?)

Magic - barraging at zombie monkey tunnel, but probably superheating/string all/high alch

Mining - granite

Prayer - guilded alter & Ourg bones realistically D-bones.

Ranging - Red chins

Runecrafting - service like W66 fast free laws is the best rc xp rate but when the economy catches up, Rings of dueling and fire runes

Slayer - Starting slayer at high combat with guthans (?) or black mask is the best xp rate

Smithing - Superheating gold ore (?)

Thieving - Blackjacking but possibly PP at high levels

Woodcutting - Arctic pines (?) or mahogany (?)

Then for first to max out:

My guess is the first player to max out will rush combat training. Probably duel arena with a buddy (because alternate accounts are totally against the rules). Duel keeping defense level 1, train strength to 30 and attack to 40. Upgrade to rune weapon (presumably dagger because of availability). Continue poking until 50 strength and 60 attack. Rush dragon dagger. Continue training with spec weapon until 70 attack, and 80 strength. Train defense to 40. Then upgrade training spots, presumably bandits/experiments/yaks/fight caves/or arena if it gives better xp rates, dunno which would be the best xp rate. When your a high combat level 80 Att, 90 Str, 60 def get started on slayer. When you get 55 slayer and unlock slayer dart (unless you think you can get 70 range/magic faster) and get the requirements for barrows done. Camp barrows at that point as much as possible, ideally getting your own set of guthans or the money to purchase one while selling other barrows items. From there start slayer, hopefully starting combat will give you an edge on the people that started slaying day 1. If it does and you are a top slayer you could potentially get decently rich off the skill and use it to fund other skills. This is my guess how the first 07scape player will max out.

Wow people seriously, calm the [bleep] down

Just wait until tomorrow, don't freak out yet... The whole party thing is supposed to be a "surprise" so maybe Suomi is playing along so it can be surprise even for us who already read it here at tip.it

Ugh, I mean, you seriously think someone would spent hours at grinding just to stop at 1XP? he's is allegedly letting other players take his 100th rank all.

Nevertheless, Just imagine he already got 200M xp everything, the point of this thread was "It is possible to get 200M all?" well yes it is, he coulda get that 1xp anytime at the past days, it's already proven it's possible, if SUOMI doesn't want to get 1 place rank forever, well it's his damn choice. Dont get all obsessive compulsive over he gets the XP or not.

What's the best way of leveling Smithing nowadays? Is still still smithing adamant platebodies?

Superheat mining

Superheating is really bad if you don't value mining xp.

Latin should value mining xp, though, so superheating is the best option for him.

Dorgesh-Kaan is actually the best Agility course.

In the other news, Dapledo is powering through fletching atm. I've always admired this player because of his high skill base (except cb stats). Do you guys think he's waiting with 120 dung until he has enough xp for the front page?

ps:

Enough with the drama guys, change topic and move on honestly. None of this is relevant for the thread in my opinion.

Are you kidding? It is on topic. Of course it is. This is the climax of a 4 year thread. And you want to talk about irrelevant stuff instead?

Just spent the last hour reading back at how this all started. I was in utter disbelief when I read the last few posts about this so I just had to read more.

Anyway after a quick look on google, I'm not actually that surprised this has happened. The comparisons made earlier about river island are slightly off target but I see what they're trying to say. I don't think jagex overreacted at all. The same happened when you set your name to Kony 2012. Alright, so your videos don't get as many views as Runesharks or whatever but ultimately they don't take the piss like you did.

A cheeky comment here and there is understandable - many of the jagex staff will understand the frustrations of the players and let a small remark pass, especially close to such an occasion, but you did step way out of line. That's not to say you are out of line as a person - this is IS only a game, and when you hit 5b, nothing spectacular will happen - it's just a number. But you have to remember the audience of jagex and the example they are expected to set; after posting a video like that an IRL meeting would have been just slightly awkward.

So the discussion for 200m all skills on 2007 Scape is also going to be held here? Nice.

Just added some comments to the post made by Donnie.

Since 07scape is definitely coming out and since there will be players going for 200m all there as well we should start looking at top xp rates for 07scape.

Crafting - cutting gems is the fastest xp rate. Realistically probably crafting unstrung gold ammies, which can be sold to lunar mages, which can be sold to alchers. Green d'hide bodies would probably be a better option, there will be lots of people killing green dragons and also other dragons. Crafting dragonhide is a better option overall.

Farming - Trees/special/herbs

Firemaking - Magic logs

Fishing - fly fishing while dropping or barb fishing it was released Barb fishing it is, because it was relased at the time already. Also, there is an option of cutting the fish as you go, because there was no cut-x interface back then.

Fletching - stringing magic longs (u)

herblore - best potion that doesn't lose too much of a profit (unid herbs make herb cleaning impractical)

hunter - sallys (?) Everyone just did chins back then, because it was great profit and not that bad xp either. I think chins would be more efficient.

Smithing - Superheating gold ore (?) I think this wouldn't be efficient at all, no Living Rock Caverns back then. Smithing platebodies, depending on what the economy will want will be more efficient. And it's also annoying to superheat in 2007, because if you casted the spells too fast, when you clicked on the ore, it didn't superheat it.

Thieving - Blackjacking but possibly PP at high levels

Woodcutting - Arctic pines (?) or mahogany (?)

I still think this is a ruse to get some publicity towards Jagex. We'll see

CONSPIRACY THEORIES

JAGEX IS WATCHING YOU

ILLRUNEINATI

NO ONE IS SAFE

Not exactly my point, but whatever. This whole things seems a bit off to me. Either SUOMI has been very good at hiding his stupidity/immaturity/recklessness while hiding in his basement grinding out 5B (maybe he has gone crazy in the process - whatever) OR this is a publicity stunt. This is not something I have not seen before. If you need to look at a recent real life example of using stupidity to get publicity - google "Donald trump vs Bill maher lawsuit"

I just find it a bit baffeling how a person that seemed to be perfectly sane in forums, would just act out in such a childish way. (After hearing the fact that Jagex invited him over to England, I take back what I previously said about SUOMI being in the right here)

He wasn't that mature in the first place, to be honest. Changed his name to KONY 2012 in March 2012, Jagex reverted his name back, his responding video started with "I still don't regret changing my name though".

Come to think of it, a remarkably similar pattern to recent events.

Don't think it's exactly fair to compare jumping on an activist bandwagon (although a stupid one, even by typical standards) to raging about Jagex. The former is hardly a sign of immaturity, but rather naivety. Raging about a mute though, that's just pretty tops of course.
