yea mining is probably the most profitable f2p skill now.

 

iron mining @ fally deposit box, which is incidentally the fastest mining xp is 200k~ hr

 

rune mining (wildy) is about 400k~ hr

 

i dont see any faster skill based money making methods out there

Yeah, definately most profitable F2P skill. Seems that alot of other people know this too as Fally iron w/ deposit box is extremely competitive :P .

If you want consistency, runecrafting is the way to go. Both iron and runite can get extremely competitive at times, making the practical figure lower.

 

Runecrafting actually matches iron ore gp/hr at rc levels like mine, lol.

Prices of runes/ess, multiple rune update, amount of runs you can do in an hour. Only water and earth are like this atm. Unlike mining, rc is very dependent on prices/levels.

 

Using maximums the figure does hover near the 200k/hr mark give or take a few, but since not everyone can do maximums the figure is lower. And remember what I said, iron ore is competitive so the practical figure is lower as well (~170k/hr or so).

 

Great Orb Project is great too and even surpasses 200k/hr but you gotta be in a pro team all the time.

Assuming you can craft 1100 essence into earth runes an hour ( I can only get about 1000) that's (1100 ess x 4 runes per ess x 37 gp) - (1100 ess x 47 gp) = 111k gp

Complete vampire slayer in f2p with 1 str, ranged and magic :)

My cmb lvl was 15, lower should be possible with a LOT of luck, since this guy despawned like 2 times while I was killing him, resulting in me having to go back to varrock for a new stake.

Also, with 30 attack i was still missing like 40% of the time.

 

try it with 1 in all cbs and 10 hp next pl0x

You won't be able to hit him, he'll despawn before he has even lost 1/4th of his LP

I used this method to get from 70-75 mining, and my best trip was around 2 minutes for a full load. A while back in this thread (I think) there was a discussion about the fastest mining xp and someone claimed to be able to get 40k xp/hour in the wildy by powermining 4 iron ores.

Nope, Sonikku is correct, he at rc 76 lvl, he can craft 5x and not yet included the low chance of crafting extra runes.

possible with ranged also i think, because the way how magic and ranged work, it is easier compared to melee

Time for some paper RS on water rune crafting.

This is from memory so very unexact numbers. With teletabs, and fally tele(Daemonheim replaces) I could craft roughly 1k ess in 20 mins(1 set of rc gloves) so 3k ess per hour.

 

Before factoring in the time to get the 120 teletabs(4080 tokens), it would be (3000ess * 5r/e(lvl76midle of the road level) * 38) = 570000 - 141000= 429000 gp/hr

 

Ok now to get 4k tokens hmmm via 50-50 would take high end 3 hours, quitters crashers etc. So 4 total hours for 569k (I make about 40k worth of runes while playing per hour) = 140k/hr

 

Now getting the max token/hr 3k 1.5 hrs, 2.5 hrs for lets say 525k, 210k/hr.

 

Now getting 3k tokens/hr would give you right now 130 gp/token which is 420kish/hr

 

I would put rune mining at a low end of 250k random hopping without keeping track of worlds and without scouts.

His RCing level is 70 so it gives 3.x earth runes per essence. I was rounding up.

 

 

 

 

If we're talking about 99 RC, then you can do 6.x water runes per essence. That figures out to be around 170k/h using cabbage patch.

 

Teletabs is a no go since you have to subtract the opportunity costs of not having traded the GOP points in for water talismans.

RC glove is very easy and fast to get, just that GOP is really inconsistency while depending on the team.

anyway, my rc lvl put to a halt when elite tasks release, right after i had brought about 40k ess, zzz.

i buy about 40k of silver ore to smelt it last 2 week, already done half. but the price keep on dropping, i had a bad feeling about it.

is it because of the free trade that ppl selling all their resources?

That's what I'm thinking, I am no G.E expert but I guess people want security in gp, not items that may lose their value. That would be what's causing everything to drop. <.<

Ugh, knew I should have sold my mithril bars earlier... didn't know this whole free trade thing will cause prices to just plummet.

 

At least it didn't go TOO low... that's the only bright side. But I'm gonna go sell them right now before they drop again...

oh crap, my silver ore and bar price is dropping like hell, i lost minimum 1m already.

well, since money isnt really important to me, i decided to hold it, and finish my smelting.

i sell everything else beside that, and wait a suitable time to buy back or other items.

My little bars smithing factory is feeling it too.The decreased adamant bars hurts. Smithing them isn't really profitable anymore.

Got 1500+ rune bars smithed, 2000+ addy bars and 4000+ mith bars.

I'm only 160k away from my new achievement - Crafting 99, probably tomorrow. I've been training it slowly for a year, one year ago it was 91. I'll probably have some motivational problems after that, but I think I'll slowly do other skills also, maybe ranged or runecrafting, anything with low money consumption.

 

I did some calculations, I have made about 290 000 gold amulets.

True, but 99 prayer cost over 600m not that long ago for most people with, say, 70 prayer or below. Now it's about 450m, and that figure is steadily decreasing. You're right, 450m is still a lot, but the current trend might give people some hope that they can achieve it, especially when free trade returns (if they happen to have loaded friends who have quit, etc).
