Played the minigame, still hate it and think it's a load of crap but I'll do it anyway to get hold of the clothes.

 

I don't like it, but still I recognise that it now gives skillers an alternative method of collecting charms to raise summoning (I know i'd certainly like to do that on one of my skiller accounts!) and maybe, just maybe, it'll help to lower the value of bones, which I'd certainly love!

I cant see how d bones will rise anymore when Im catching 3 zombies per world in 2 minutes.

I also found that there are usually less spirit implings than zombies in a world because almost everyone can catch the spirits and they are easier to see.

Well, at least we know that the crown looks like [cabbage]. I guess it was another waste of an update again. Barely any spirit implings, they barely give any charms, haven't seen a single king, and there are tons of zombies with crap drops, too bad I can't even catch them anyway. The netless catching update was nice, but I was suggesting it ever since they [bleep]ing released the stupid minigame. A little late.

 

How about they stop making updates require rediculously high levels, or at least give some new content besides that? Spirit implings are rare, and give terrible loot, but they're the only new impling I can catch. Royal items look like they're going to be rediculously overpriced, not to mention they look ugly from what I saw. It was another crappy update in my eyes, I guess we'll have a fair share of them now and again. Once the new skill comes out, they fix magic (really this time, not a stupid staff that you need to trade onyxes for), or they release an awesome quest, I'll be happy.

 

I guess impling hunting is somewhat more worth it, but still pretty pointless... and extremely frusturating with the [cabbage]ty pathfinding, and the jackasses who are lucky enough to nab your impling in one swipe when it takes you 15. It's like mining, anyone can steal your stuff if they're lucky enough, higher levels almost never help. When will they make an update that has nothing to do with luck? I'm getting sick of this [cabbage].

with 80 developers working on different projects isn't it likely that at least a minor project finishes around every week? This impeteus update has been in the workings for a long time, as the development diary shows.

 

why not release content when it's finished?

Well, the fire cape required skill, but the ice strykewyrms required pure luck to get them as a task, let alone a good drop. Not to mention, that required 93 slayer. Sure, there were other strykewyrms with lower requirements, but I still haven't gotten one even assigned to me, let alone did I obtain one of their crappy drops.

 

Too bad the one aspect of the update that wasn't based on luck or massive amounts of playtime was removed because of the people complaining that they have some type of mental illness, or no [bleep]ing hands. It's a game. If you have no reflexes, hands, or brain, you shouldn't be complaining.

They would of been up roar if they are decent xp (which I assume they are) as what they drop doesnt magically affect peoples internet connections and illnesses that can delay reaction times. Thus making fire cape truely impossible for some players

Bull****. This is a videogame. It should require some amount of skill. I'm pretty offended that people are saying they have a mental illness just so they won't have to deal with something in the game. As someone who has a mental disorder, I find it very insulting. Nothing is impossible. I've suffered through a lot to do things I thought I couldn't, and people saying "Oh, I have ADHD, I can't beat Jad..." just so they can be able to get a staff of light and sell it for rediculous amounts of virtual money really offends me.

 

Having an illness is a challenge you're going to have to fight. I fought mine, and when people think they can get past theirs by complaining and whining until someone else fixes something for them, especially in a videogame, it really irks me.

Theres some mental disorders that effect reaction speed and no matter how much you "fight" them you wont react quickly, making prayer switching for Jad impossible. Thus making Jad impossible.

 

Equally if yuo have a bad internet connection and lag all the time it is impossible.

Does anyone think it odd that they have been telling us in the Q & As that the Graphics team has been busy on graphics for the new skill, and then this graphics filled chunk of land just magically apears? Either it ISN'T new skill related and someone in the graphics team wasn't working on new skill stuff (still quite possible) or this new land is some how related to the new skill.

I know some of you like these minigames, but they do not do anything for me. Fight Caves, Impetuous Impulses, Soul Wars, Castle Wars, FoG... they all reek equally.

 

But I understand they appeal to some of you, and that's OK. Just keep them to the side, out of the way and all will be fine.

Well, the new skill has been said to involve a new land, I believe it's skill related, not quest-related.
