Why is ely still going for 1b if it's buyable in GE for max for 1-4 days?

- tying up 550m for 4 days is at least 90m lost profits from flipping/investing

- you must pay an additional 25m (med-max difference)

 

so it costs you around 125m to get an elysian through the ge over in trade. clearing 500m junk i would lose 50-100m gp, so really buying in the ge is more a cost than you might think lol.

On topic, are divines slowly buyable as well? More trades should make the next rise come a lot sooner, correct? So a semi-retired person could make 20m or so reselling right after an update with little to no effort before they crashed, correct?

Wioneo, Divines are still envolved in the rare market. They are priced somewhere between purple and yellow. Far from buyable.

Since you mentioned buying and resaleing, I would suggest you try elysians.

Anyone know anything about how Bob shirts are doing? I have one or two thinking their street was quite high but graphs suggest otherwise.

 

Also, mitres. These have all suddenly dropped since the elite clue update, (why????) including the 3 that we already had. I bought a load of ancient mitres at 60/70k each thinking they would go back up to the price that the existing ones were. If there are few ancient/bandos/arma ones in the game then why are the crashing so hard and fast?

OT: To poster above, mitres and bob shirts have no street at all. Mitres did not have street about a week after elites came, so there's no reason for them to have it now.

Explanation of stable junk and unstable junk.

Explanation of junk trading and what 60/40, 65/35, etc. trades mean.

List of stable junk.

Pricing breakdown of items' street values.

Explanation of street value.

Explanation of buyouts of an item and how they can be beneficial when trading for rares.

Well I guess this ends Accuracy's use as junk. I was kinda hoping that they would fall very gradually so that they would cause more and more rare owners to sell off a rare or 2 cheep to get rid of them. I saw a purple go for 500M with accuracies so I guess I was hoping for a real meltdown of the rare market... oh well.

4 purps for 1.1B each. Took no more than 30 minutes, too.

Oh sorry, I guess I must have mis-seen something, but I could swear I saw someone selling a purple for 500M on the RSOF yesterday night. But right now all I can find is 2 pumpkin offers which is arround 1B so I guess you're right. Now that I think about it, they may have meant purple partyhat and 500M in ammys which is about 1B.
