The prices for these rares are always moving up and down. Kind of like the stock market. It can either be the best or worst investment ever

My understanding is that, rather than divines crashing, it's more that partyhats are rising. So no, no GE price any time soon.

Ye, except dclaws were far more common, and as such made the transition far more quickly.

Purp has gone up a bit...hard to get for 1.4B unless the junk is incredibly bad.

 

Divine is approximately yellow + 100m junk or purp + disk + Fury kit.

 

ely is around 900m-1.1B cash or disk + cash.

Street prices of party hats are crashing hard due to the future amulet of accuracy nerf.

 

Saw a purple sell for under 1b today. People are panicking to get rid of something that will soon be completely worthless.

Please be aware that there will be a change to the Amulet of Accuracy in the next update. Its the quest reward for Imp Catcher and is a low level alternative to amulets of power, glory, fury etc. Currently it is possible for a player to gain only one of these objects, but oddly you cant get it back if you lose it except through player trade. You have to buy one from another player and NOTHING in the game drops it. You cant craft one either. This is not ideal for an object we want to be used for training by low level players and is very odd behaviour for a unique quest reward.

 

Please be aware that this redesign will force a change to the GE price of the object.

 

We intend to make the amulet easier to get back if you lose it, and fix an affordable price on the object. This price will be balanced to ensure its an appropriate reward for a quest of that level, and allows high level f2p crafters to continue to sell amulets of power as a better alternative.

 

Its very, very rare for us to change objects so dramatically but the current behaviour of the object on the GE is not appropriate for a low level quest reward. Apologies to anyone who feels that this has affected them negatively; its never our intention to annoy you.

It's going to go from 70k an amulet to something much much much lower. Most probably something under 1k but that's just a wild guess. People are going to lose billions if they don't dump their junk right now.

You must know very little about the RuneScape economy. If the junk most partyhat traders have got is going to crash to 1/100 of what they were, it would mean they would lose almost every gp of "street" they paid. Normal, manipulated junk sells at between 33%-60% of original price. Obviously people are going to panic about losing nearly a bil worth of their banks.

If you're not referring to Mink (A mercher who has quit because he lost all of his street from ammys) then you're wrong. The junk traded

influences the seller to make up the price. If the junk is bad (recently dumped merching clan item) then the price will be lower

but if the junk is stable, then the price will obviously be higher simply because the buyers will have more confidence in getting

their money back. This is why there is NO 'official' street price. It's completely relative to how the trade is operated through

what junk, what risings, etc.

Dang, Mink quit? Last I heard, he had a cracker too. That sucks if he still does. One less cracker in the game.

 

About the amulet of accuracy, why not flood the forum and all pking worlds with "buying amulet of accuracy, 350k" requests. Get the same response as climbing boots, oh and get their alch value set at like 280k, so it protects over whips and chaotic and stuff. :thumbup:

 

Sounds good to me, ammy of accuracy gives far huger bonuses then climbing boots did.
