With the 'suggested price' still being included in the trade screen, most people will decline if you offer any less. And good luck selling for more with the same reasoning. I get that all the time, someone says selling rune pick, I offer 18k and they decline because it's not the 'suggested price' of 19k. The days of 'taking advantage' of noobs who either didn't know the price or were too lazy to go to W2 to sell it is long over. The only things I see doing well in a Fally Park style setting is rares and items that are bought en masse, and even those most people go to the RSOF for.

Noobs are nostalgia'ing and think people are dumb enough to go somewhere incredibly impractical to trade.

and after 2 hours when they get bored of spam typing and trying to find sellers/buyers, they will go back to the superior GE

quick estimate of prices based on buy offers ive seen in w2:

 

blue - 1.2b

white - 1b

red - 750m

divine - 650m

green - 625m

yellow - 500m

purp - 400m (?) (actually way fewer buys of purple it seems)

ely - 400m

It's the initial hype of being able to actually buy hats, and having normal trade back. I predict red will stabilize somewhere in the 600m neighborhood with a kind of sophomore slump for all the hats. What i'm most interested in, however, is the prices of ancient armors. Any news on those?

Seen a thread where red got sold for 700m and blue for 1.55B. I see a lot of potential profit if you know what you're doing.

I went one the RSOF last night and it seemed every other post was blue owners manipulating. I guess with so few of them, it's easier to get the owners together to do that sort of thing.

I was wonding about that too, I bought a bunch of ores / logs and stuck them in the GE and they started selling almost right away. Either Jagex removed the 4h buy / sell limit or the broke the GE... I sure hope it's broken because no buy / sell limit will make flipping far far too easy.

It's free trade there is no buy/sell time limits. The only limits there are still are the amounts you can buy so people don't monopolize an item.

Found a guy buying green phat for his purple (which sells for 450m or so) + 175m.

 

Sold Purple for 455m and rebought Green for 585m. :thumbsup:
