Low C
I haven't been solo mage crashed in ages, I think people going to dag kings is calming down alittle recently due to the new skill and all. I prefer staff of light only because of the experience and the fact I need a higher magic level which I refuse to spend millions on.

Obtaurian
The arcane necklace thing would help for crashers at Dk's, right? 48's with Ice Barrage lol Could be used in place of (or in addition to) an extreme magic potion. Would be pretty intimating to try and crash a guy with a 15%+ damage modifier advantage. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
ghjkl
Really if you 2.5 brid you really should be using overload potions in the first place. Actually I would use overload potions at DKS if you have them. Shorter trips but much faster kills and no need for restoring when you brew. stonewall337
Why? I still get 60 kills/hr, and 100+ kills/trip. I would say just mess around with the level requirements a bit and everything is fine. I thought the reduction is fair enough for the items to look reasonably enough to obtain. Disagree. Use bonus experience from quests to raise your level, which in turn allows you to gain experience at an accelerated rate (up to a point). Something tells me the second update will bring more than just new rewards... probably more floors past 35. For a skill that goes to level 120, I think the floors should exceed a level 50 - 60 requirement. my youtube
Bloodstain
Just in case this is still being debated, from the live Q&A:Money Co: "plzzzz add the chaotic weapon's SPEED in the manual i want to see how fast the rapier/longsword hits! staff and crossbow is added melee forgotten." --- This will hopefully be added in the near future, but until then: The rapier has the same speed as a scimitar and the longsword has the same speed as other longswords in the game (a dragon longsword, for example). Logdotzip
I wonder how great or minute the impact of these new weapons and shields will have on the current high level gear found in RuneScape. I personally believe that in general, the new gear takes a fair bit of time, so weapons may not drop too drastically, although if the Chaotic Maul ends up being a badass of a weapon, I could see the price of AGS being hit the hardest. Although the Elysian and Divine spirit shields are still better shields, I see them also dropping in price because of the Chaotic Kiteshield. And by dropping in price I mean, perhaps, possibly, a small chance, maybe, of them finally being worth G.E. price. The Arcane and Spectral are already exchanged fairly freely through the G.E. already, and I do see them dropping somewhat due to the Eagle-Eye ad Farseer Shields... Dragonfire shield; really the only thing it had going for it was having the Top STATS when fully charged, as many people already have access to Super Antifires... I could see it falling back to Mid-High 20 millions. It's still much easier to attain than the new shields, what with being purchasable, so it will never lose it's usability. my youtube
Bladewing
I personally believe that in general, the new gear takes a fair bit of time, so weapons may not drop too drastically, although if the Chaotic Maul ends up being a badass of a weapon, I could see the price of AGS being hit the hardest.Yup, I agree here. Abyssal Whips, Saradomin Swords, and Zamorakian spears probably won't drop since most players won't want to spend 200k/hour for the increased xp/h (just like players don't like using prayer potions). SGS and ZGS should also remain about the same since players (greatly over-)value their special attacks instead of use as a primary weapon. AGS could be replaced by Chaotic maul as a finisher weapon for PvP, so it will probably take a hit. Not sure on BGS since the only people who use it are people who have the "omfg godsord hi hits" mentality and TD hunters. BGS is likely to stay the same, too.The Arcane and Spectral are already exchanged fairly freely through the G.E. already, and I do see them dropping somewhat due to the Eagle-Eye ad Farseer Shields...Arcane is dropping because the tome of frost is much more useful. Spectral is dropping because the Eagle Eye has almost the same defences but better attack bonuses and an ability. Elysian might drop (it's always been overvalued imo), but Divine will stay high since it is MUCH better.I could see [DFS] falling back to Mid-High 20 millions. It's still much easier to attain than the new shields, what with being purchasable, so it will never lose it's usability. If people were rational about DFS, it would be like 15m. Its only use is tanking bosses. People will continue to pay high prices for DFS because they're irrational about the usefulness of strength compared to attack. DFS also has a "high level" stigma so many players seek after it irrationally. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
Soma2035
Quick find code: 15-16-995-60852871 Gravite Longsword PROBLEM Hey, so I worked hard for the week training my dungeoneering and today after debating and looking at the kb I chose to get the Gravite longsword. Now my problem is the Kb claims that it has 62 str bonus Which is why I bought it. But in game, the str bonus reads only 54.5. Kinda dissapointed.. I need to know whether the bonus will increase once its at 100% charge or if its a mistake.. This is very misleading as I cant find any information on this anywhere. Thanks Just a warning to you all. I don't know if this is true, although someone else in the thread confirms it. However, if the rewards page doesn't accurately represent the Gravite Longsword, it may not accurately report the stats of other items either. If you're on the verge of purchasing a Dungeoneering reward, I recommend waiting until someone from Jagex looks over the items and the matching knowledge base information and confirms that what you see is really what you get. Jabuli
Most of the stats in the kb are wrong. Like the guardian's ward. It doesn't have any attack bonuses or str bonus at all.
sumondskull6
AFAIK, like 90% of the new items have wrong bonuses on the KB. I honestly have no idea how they could screw something that simple up, also 62 and 54.5 have nothing in common. I can understand 50->500, but even 55->550 is pushing it, how do you accidentally add a 0, that's a few keys off. I think they did it on purpose, just like the 2.7x weekend. Troacctid
Well now i dont feel bad for telling everyone i know to spend their points for xp.You should. Why would you do that? XP doesn't do a damn thing in this skill. You don't get anything for leveling up except the rewards you buy with the tokens. The only purpose of leveling up in the first place is to get the tokens.
