I hear it a lot.Dead Space isn't really even scary. When I realized that I could chop off the monsters' legs and leave them vulnerable, the scare factor went away. Now, Amnesia, man. I can't play that game for more than five minutes.

I knew it was gonna be bad when I heard a row of girls literally SCREAM when a preview came on with that guy who was in Twilight. In the beginning it was rather annoying with people clapping and cheering every time a character showed up for the first time, but luckily everyone was so into it through the final hour of it that the whole theater could hear someone shifting in their seat during a quiet part. July 19, 201114 yr Dead Space is scary as hell, not because of the spooks or atmosphere, but the fact that the gameplay is mind-bogglingly monotonous and lackluster.

Lovely game :thumbup:I've heard Silent Hill 2 is AMAZING, it's definitely on my list now. I played the demo for Amnesia, and I got to the part where the invisible monster that can only touch you if you're in the water is. Brilliant idea on the developers part, but became less scary and more tedious when I got stuck at a gate and spent some time figuring out what to do. I don't know that this could be prevented, though. OT, I hate how I woke up at 3AM, couldn't fall asleep again until 5, then woke up again every hour and couldn't stay up long enough to "get off at the intended stop" until like 12. Get back here so I can rub your butt.

July 19, 201114 yr I've never played Dead Space, but through what I've seen, it doesn't look that scary. Having to reinstall Diablo 2 every other week because my sister uninstalls it. Other games don't bother me, but D2 takes a lot more effort than most.
