I'm pretty ticked off right now.

Family computer has a virus, I get blamed because I installed firefox a year ago. Flash drive went caput when trying to kill virus. Why can't people be computer literate?

Finally got rid of the SOB virus. Now that everyone is asleep, I'm installing IE9, firefox 5, java update ?, and all the neglected windows updates.

 

This should keep them happy for another year.

I'm pretty sure that only gives you the last version of IE that you had. They might have changed it, but I remember last year I tried to uninstall it on vista, and a few people said it couldn't be done.

 

Was the forum just down again? (After it went up from the longer downtime period.) Because I couldn't load it...I'm not sure if it was my internet, or tipit.

Years ago when I had a fresh copy of XP on my system, I uninstalled IE6. XP broke, I think it uses it in their file management.

IE needs to stay on windows, its pretty infuriating. Luckily you can change settings to make another browser your default.

Chances are if you even manage to uninstall it without breaking your system, windows would re-install it the next time you updated your system.

Why do you need to uninstall IE anyways? Just download another browser and set that to default then you can put the IE shortcut into the Recycling Bin. It's as good as gone.

I tried loading TIF this morning, and it said I was forbidden. My thoughts:

Haha. I always tell myself that if I ever make a montage or something, my music won't be some [cabbage]ting Nickleback/Papa Roach/Linkin Park/Avenged Sevenfold music (no offense to all those fans out there).

I guess this could be part of my rant about people saying "internet sayings" in real life, but this one in particular is beginning to bug me.

 

When people say own, owned, pwn, or pwned. Especially if they pronounce it "pawn".

My family has started to say those in real life... I mean, you'd think 'owned' would be as far as they'd go, because the others just sound stupid irl, but they've taken to pwned.
