Judges is pretty much 100% my choice, Guthix pretty much is the most hawt person ever..

I don't really like the idea of separating the forum FURTHER into more groups. The previous forum separation was a very unpopular update (the 'communities' update that divided forum users into total level 1500+, total level 1500-, etc.), and this update might not be so popular either. But heck, we'll see how it turns out. I could be entirely wrong.

 

If I did participate in the game, I would probably choose to be a Judge. It's in my personality to be neutral.

i'd be a reaver, and honestly im surprised there aren't more.

gamers tend to be more liberal than the game designers.

Eh, all the WBMs and overzealous roleplayers who've come out of the woodwork have started to make this a bit unappealing. I hope the Jmods intending to run the different organisations can actually get them under control when the time comes to start participating in events.

Lords. Every guy who wants to be "cool" will probably just go to the chaos one, resulting in quite a lot of immature or annoying people (not making any generalizations about those guys, just saying it's probable).

 

Judges, maybe, but balance tends to mean no action, and no action isn't my style :P

Yeah I think I might change to Lords from Judges actually =l I'm more of an Armadyl player, but figured I look at both sides of a story, so I chose the balance/neutral side, but I like the colour scheme and appeal of the Lords.

with a bit of history, i dislike 2 side fights. so thay got me from the start when thay went on about "why not have 3 sides?" lol

 

i dont know yet but i will probably join The Reavers: Rogues of chaos, change and enthusiasm.

just a thought... what if one side starts to get too strong? i remeber from AQ and the fire army had probably 3 or 4 times as many players joined as the second strongest team. topic for another thread?

Idk if I'd join the lords or the judges, but never the reavers. I will never forgive them for killing Wash.

It initially sounds like the competition won't work, as it's the kind of thing that only tight-knit forums have done before (TET anyone?).

 

I personally will not be signing up, I'm not on enough for me to be bothered, but if it is implemented well, it could be a step in the right direction in terms of the whole clan thing....

 

Why didn't they use the three gods as 'clans'? Or would that be too religiously imposing?

I have such a torrent of mixed feelings about this. It is both wonderful and horrible, fantastic and miserable. This will give some ever-changing goals, interaction, and next-level experiences that so many people have been desperately seeking for ages--ones that won't require ages upon ages to take away from developer/programmer time. It seems a little heavily pvp-oriented but perhaps that will change. I really hope it does, because if it becomes wholly pvp oriented then I can't see it becoming as big as it could otherwise. Competition is thrilling and motivating.

 

But they made some troubling mistakes that could bring this lovely little project to a screeching halt.

 

It's seperate from Runescape's lore. For something so deeply linked to the roleplaying aspect, you would think they would have taken the time to integrate these things. The influence system, so far, doesn't really have any benefit. It's kind of a system that works towards nothing. And worse, it doesn't seem to be automated. It's going to be pretty hard for them to keep track of it and keep it swiftly updated, and that's coming from someone who actively works on a rankings system by hand (as well as the rest of Tip.it's Clan Staff!) And possibly the worst, most dreadful thing that threatens this project is, go figure, those horrible forums....

 

Why the forums? Because the backbone of the scoring system rides on it. You can lose influence or gain influence for your team based on your behavior on those forums. The community is far too large to monitor this effectively. The result? Inconsistent awards and deductions, mass frustration, extra burdens for their already overtaxed community managers and forum mods.

 

I don't know. It just seems very catastrophic to me. It's a projected I would LOVE to see succeed, but I hold little hope.

Despite being Banned from RSOF (Loooooong Story, Unfair Ban) I still think it' wont work too well. Like Das said, Good in theory, but when it comes to doing it I have a hunch it wont go down so well.

 

On another note, renaming to Judge Zene sounds kinda tempting and hawt...

So it is basically saradomin, guthix and zamorak again.

I guess I will join the Judges, so far most TIFs like the Judges. Balance is power!

You honestly can't do anything with the forums due to two seperate, but equally damning things.

 

1) The maturity level is too low

 

2) The size of the forums is too high

 

And Liz, I don't think of it as "the man." i just try to avoid subjugating myself to the whims of the majority, and as is the case with Runescape, the rather stupid majority.

This looks [developmentally delayed]ed, how about a real update?

 

 

There's no guarantee people will actually play our traditional updates, so this is gonna be what the rest of our updates are going to be like.

I was a bit of a hypocrite *points to saradomin armor in signature* and joined The Judges :P. I mainly sport the sara for looks not the philosophy. The world needs equal parts chaos and equal parts order. Balance ftw :ugeek:...

Meh. I think I'll pass on this. I'm not social enough to be interested and I have other things to do. Like maybe get back into working on Slayer properly so I can get charms for my next spree of working on Summoning.

It's not about the gods. It just uses the colors.

Reavers represent "chaos, change, intensity & action".

Lords represent "order, nobility, honour, duty and tradition".

Judges represent "balance, nature, wisdom, preservation and caution".

 

They want you to join the group most like you since they want you to "act" the way your group is.

when i first saw it, it reminded me of WoW and their Horde vs Alliance thing but Triumvirate seems more community driven instead of just being built in the game.
