I'd say three true friends, four if we can include dogs.

I would say (outside of family) 2. One male, one female. But I never get to see them anymore.

Whats the difference between a true friend and a false friend?

Luckily life is not a true and false test.

He means one can you essentially tell your upmost secrets to, are true. The others that you get along with, but don't bring up [cabbage] like that, are just friends.

None. I have tons of friends friends, but I tend to not like to have close friends. Not to sound nerdy, but having friends is too [bleep]ing tiring and stressful. Always want me to go places with them. Uhhh no. lemme alone :(

2 people I trust, if you count the girl I'm dating. (Who I trusted long before I started dating her, I was close friends with her for about 2 years.)

Others, I enjoy hanging around or talking to, but wouldn't trust with anything important.

uhhh... let me think here...

9. I'm going with 9. Almost 10, but I haven't seen or talked to him much since he went to college, so i didn't count my one buddy. Cool guy though. But I have 9 very very close freinds who I definatly couldn't live without. I see roughly 6 of them on a near daily basis. School or not.

There are very few people (er, let's go with no one) that I fully trust. Though I always find it easier to tell things that I'm reluctant to share to people I barely know than to my closest friends.

But I've got a friend who apparently trusts me a lot, and I do trust him back. One there. Then there's my sister, but I dunno if that really counts.

I can think of up to 10 more (a blend of guys and girls) that I keep a distance, but I do consider them good friends. Everyone else is basically just an acquaintance looking at it broadly. I enjoy the presence of some more than others of course, but I probably wouldn't even go out of my way to talk to them, let alone trust them.

Aaah, 1 maybe 2 depending on how you look at it.

Still, how do you tell whats' a "true" friend. :|

I have 3 friends which make up my "group" at school and such. But I'd only call two of them "true'' friends. I trust both of them and they know me well and I can talk to them about anything, or not talk. Either works.

We'll sneak out while they sleep

And sail off in the night.

We'll come clean and start over the rest of our lives.

When we're gone, we'll stay gone.

Out of sight, out of mind.

It's not too late,

We have the rest of our lives.

What's a friend?

Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

3 really close ones, about 10 really good mates and another 30 of friends. The rest are acquaintances. I get around.

lampost_sig_stark.png

I'd say a friend is not someone who you like more than other people, just hate less. So, yeah. There you have it.

I have 10 friends I'd pretty much trust with anything, 2 of those also happen to be ex girlfriends. And something that I'm quite glad about, is that me and my friends found out that another of our friends is bisexual. That day we were hanging out with him, having fun. It actually made me happy, because I had no clue what my friends really thought about someone not being straight.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Everytime a thread pops up like this I get happy because I always think of the same 3 close friends I've had for over 12 years. They're always the three I think of immediately when asked who my best friends are, and it hasn't changed for over a decade. wow.

This summer a girl is squeezing into my best friend bubble and I'm becoming anxious about it. She's perfect for me but has this "yea i'm hot and perfect for you, whatever" attitude so I'm very suspicious of her. I need to find her flaw before I can start letting her into my secrets. Ahhhh women, making me rack my head over them. If this was a train of thought in my head I'd of said "[bleep] it" already and passed onto thinking about porn or omelets or something.

Four people I would trust with my life, one of whom I just met last week.

p2gq.jpg

This is funny because I was just contemplating this the other day actually. I came to the conclusion that friend is used extremely loosely and that the chances are someone who calls you a friend, or even their best friend, they are only an incidental acquaintance who won't last very long. So the criteria I decided my actual friends must have to be considered an actual friend is I don't despise them, they're considerate and they'll always be sincere. I get slightly annoyed when someone calls me their friend and I would not agree in the slightest, which seems to happen a lot. In that case, I only have maybe a handful of friends. The only people I confidently call a "friend" are the people who have seen the best and worst of me, and I in them, and we still are friends in the end, people I've known for like 10yrs. I find it better to know who your true friends are rather then to lie to yourself and say you have, say 100, friends who really aren't worth the title.

He who wears his morality but as his best garment were better naked... Your daily life is your temple and your religion

Two, one of whom who I hardly know yet I can trust with pretty much anything.

Around 8 or 9 very good friends that I frequently socialise with, I'd do anything to help them, I know they'd do the same for me.

2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

People that I can rely upon for anything no matter what? Probably 3 I'd say. Others are nice and all, but can be really unreliable at times.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

RIP Michaelangelopolous

True friends as in people I would trust with my life? I can't really think of that many, if any at all.

I have a sort of cynical outlook on humanity, and it seems like everyone is unreliable at best. Sure, I've met quite a few nice people, but I could never really rely on them for anything. Hell, I've stopped talking with the majority of them since I departed ways after high school.

Unreliable =/= Flakes? In that sense at least.

I have about 5 true friends.
