I think i'm showing my age that I wouldn't mind wearing any of them. When you get older, you realise that the opposite sex don't care if you play a game as much as you think. It's your attitude and demeanour that are important.

The question is, where would you wear them? Where, as an adult, would you want to advertise your liking of MMORPG's? It really has nothing to do with the opposite sex, but the fact that you'd have to want everyone to know about you still playing childish games at a half-respectful(compared to the average age of players) age. I have real life friends who have played and know i play RS and i have friends that haven't ever played it and don't know i play it, so because the game doesn't define me or my personality, i wouldn't go around advertising the game as a fool. The only place i can see mature people wearing any of the stuff are game conferences or the kind.

Or people wear them because THEY like them. I wear my ZMI hoody a lot and not one single person has questioned me on it. If someone noticed it and asked me about it then I'd have no problem admitting that I play. It's nothing about showing it off to people, at least for me. I have a decent selection of t-shirts and often get complimented on them but I don't wear them for that, if it's something I like I don't care what other people will think as it doesn't bother me.

Exactly. You don't wear them to advertise or to show of, you wear them because you need to wear a t shirt and they don't look half bad. If anybody questioned be on them I'd have no hesitation in saying they are a t shirt of a game I used to play.

They did get rid of a lot of good stuff... Glad i ordered what i wanted, while i could.

Tbh, the only thing that would appeal to me is the Zamorak t-shirt, if it was black... But it's... White. Does that make sense?

Other then that, there really isn't anything good, in my eyes.

And thank you... Dark. I was looking for the right words and i found them in your post.

I have the limited bandos hoodie myself, i got it entirely because i love the way it looks, and i wear it everywhere. Only been questioned about it like maybe 3 times. And that's only because the logo on the back looks demonic.

I have it to. The first day I went with it at school some friends asked me why I had gone emo. (Makes little sense, but that's what they said).

I said I hadn't, I just liked it overall. That's the only comment I've gotten about it other then the ones at runefest.

This +1 ... =D> =D> =D>

I love my bandos hoodie, not cause like other ppl have said that I wanna show off I play rs, but that I love the hoodie itsself. Only got asked once about it, from another rS player at a mall and I have sense added them ingame.

I think this t-shirt/hoodie wearing bit has alot to do with Maturity of the person ... :^_^:

I don't know which mod did this. I don't know why they did it. If they're looking for money, I can tell them I don't have any as I'm a student. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over 4 years of RuneScape. Skills that I have worked hard for and people like them can't take them away. If they give me my particles back now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for them, I will not pursue them. But if they don't, I will look for them, I will find them, and they won't like what'll happen

Oh yes they do. If they don't they're lying. Everyone is judgmental, no matter how much they say they're not. Now, being judgmental and taking a chance versus being judgmental and shunning the fellow is two different things. But what you wear, what you do--everything leaves impressions.

Kinda averarge shirt designs, If I'm honest, combined with a horribly done website, considering the RS page is rather good, why did they convert a very functional website in an awful poorly desinged one?

I prefered most of the old designs too, maybe they'll bring them back.

The guthix ones are pretty neat, I'll give them that.

LOL at the responces in this thread... You play the game but wouldn't be caught dead wearing runeScape apperall

Agreed. I wear a t shirt that promotes the USC Trojans and got a lot of comments concerning my t shirt. I don't take [cabbage] from anyone.

I am considering to buy one Runescape logo T shirt although I think it will be a good idea on Jagex to release some action figures.

I disagree. I would have the same social life with friends that know I game as with those that don't. Hell, I'll often introduce myself as a self proclaimed nerd to the opposite sex if I'm out. People aren't as judgemental as you think. And those that are aren't worth talking too anyway.

I could have just as good night, meet as many new people wearing one of those T shirts as I could wearing a t shirt with the same general picture but not Runescape oriented.

You're confusing my post with me advocating such behavior, lord knows why. If you read all but the first sentence, you'll see that I said some people are willing to be good people despite that and talk to you--and I agree with you, those are the people worth knowing. But it's human nature to make assumptions in line with their beliefs.

You need to make friends with nicer people then, as well as grow a bit of self confidence. The only real judgement you will ever experience is your own, the judgements of others are derivative. They're coloured by their misconceptions and very often dumb ideas. I just joined university (my, how time has passed, I joined TIF back when I was studying my GCSEs), and discovering that a big proportion of my friends here used to play or still play Runescape has very much cemented our relationship. I'm probably a world class nerd, but in university and in the wider world that's accepted. I would feel perfectly confident getting and wearing one of the t-shirts, I particularly like the Combat Triangle one, I've always liked that picture.

OMG how much money do they make from the game that they can't afford to hire a good graphic designer to design some shirts? They all look so amateurish, I have designed better stuff for class projects and my friends' bands! The only halfway decent one is the primal warriors one (looks like it was ripped off from a Jinx design) but the contrast sucks on it!

By the way before anyone says "if you can do it better blah blah blah..." I wore a shirt of my own design to Blizzcon and got a lot of great comments on it. Where do I apply?

...what? My friends are great people and I have an ample amount of self confidence. Let's stick to arguments and less with personal attacks?

It's funny you mention this. I had coffee with a cute guy this week because we started talking about the Horde shirt I was wearing. And I'm sure people are judgemental, if I was an overweight chick stretching out the shirt maybe he wouldn't have bothered. But I find it to be a nice conversation starter, like when guys see a girl gamer you already have so much to talk about :-D You have no idea how many people yell out "For the Horde/Alliance!" when I wear the shirt lol. But RS still has a shameful stigma attached to it, if they designed nicer shirts I might actually buy one :(

Because teenage girls aren't hormonal rofl.

And as for the shirt argument - It's more the fact Runescape's typically associated with your 14yr old school days. So wearing it at age 22 proclaiming i still play the Browser Java Grindfest, is kind of pathetic.

Jeez, even i know its 2010. It's not THAT you play, it's WHAT you play now :shades:

Frankly, I like the ones that DON'T have an obvious Runescape design on them.

indeed, if i would get any, it would be the K'ril Tsutsaroth Hoodie.

if you dont know rs, it looks like a cool thing.

if you do, it looks like a cool boss image (unles your a zaros/saradomin worshiper :P)

p.s. it says us, uk and euopre.

im in au... help?

lol so you guys are afraid to wear runescape apparel because your afraid you will get made fun of or it will scare away girls? I'm 19 and i dress up as videogame characters for cons and Halloween. Granted i don't go trick or treating but i still embrace my nerdyness and ignore the hate. If people make fun of you for runescape ignore them and move on. also for the afraid its a girl repellent? first: if the girl wont date you because you play runescape, she is not for you... you are thinking with your [bleep] not your brain. Second: you wearing a runescape/nerd/game shirt advertises your hobbies allowing others to see that you and them have something in common. This may lead to finding a girl gamer. Also its quite humorous that you all are on a runescape site... playing a runescape game.... and calling each other nerds and virgins... grow up. Life isn't all about getting laid and making money. If you don't figure that out sooner or later you are only doomed to an unhappy life. This is just my opinion i guess some may think its dumb others will embrace just wanted to get it off my chest.
