DyingSilent
Had Shadow-Forger, otherwise it would've been 0 deaths <_< Also we wasted a bit of time tele-failing, clearing levers unnecessarily, and dying on boss. Regardless, great floor guys. 2461/2496 Total, 35 levels to CompletionistSunstriker: Path to Completionist Cape

Dragonlordjl
Yeah, how do people still die so much on Forger? Stand next to him and use Protect Melee if you don't have a Hex. Whenever you take more than 300 damage, safe up. I haven't been killed the last six or so Forgers I've had. Btw, epic floor time

It's an issue that someone else raised a few pages ago-- people whine about not having any food for the boss, but they commonly leave piles of Salves rotting in GDs. SirIzenhime
My first death that floor on SF was because I had 0 prayer, and I didn't know an altar was being built...I die and the altars was there... <_< I ended up dieing again though from his range acid attack 800-0 lp, yep. Not much to say there. Edit: I'm the one that brought up the food thing btw :P I think many people just don't take it because they can't physically see it there. Food doesn't always appear on the top of a loot pile. Many times the kill looks like it's only bones, because theres like seeds on it, so people ignore it.When you right click it, there's like...8 salves under it :P Fisher/Woodcut------Me-----Miner/crafter----Stabber----Leecher ^Golvellius must be so proud^

Andy
I don't take food usually because I have doors to go do. If there's enough downtime for me to sit there and spam a pile i'll do it, but usually I just end up running around on 1-2 salves. also the ranged attack of shadowforger is the only thing that makes him hard. random 300-300-300s suck. This. I rarely stop to pick up food. Also, you can avoid Shadowforger's ranged attack by moving. It's a non-targeting AoE attack, so if you're meleeing, just pray melee and run along Forger to avoid the green splats. When hexing you do the same thing but standing back and praying magic. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I had 2 deaths that floor, both to shadow, once i failed and went in at completely the wrong time and second was just SF being a bleep... The only person who didn't die was mike cause he skipped boss(was doing a mining door i should have gotten to do). None the less, that really was an epic floor and so far quite a bit faster than any others we have had(and it had sub-17 potential). First to 99 Farming on 27. DyingSilent
+1 to Cheese, Obtaurian, and Xpx. Those are all right. I was keying, I'm not supposed to have food. I might have picked up 10 salves total that floor. Also, I don't really care about the xp from Abandoned. I like seeing fast floor times, and AFAIK, that's the fastest posted dungeon on Tip.It yet. 2461/2496 Total, 35 levels to CompletionistSunstriker: Path to Completionist Cape

ghjkl
Yes its called 3 binds only(before I get flamed)the average 3boer is better than the average dgser, it's only when you start forming teams with 4-5 pros from dgs that it really becomes better
green9090
Eeeh... that's iffy. 3boers are SURPRISINGLY bad, especially when you pick them up for occults rather than warpeds. ghjkl
You have to consider the people you frequently dung with in dgs are fairly high leveled and experienced. The main purpose of dgs is to teach new people to dung, and if you go with new people then obviously they won't be as experienced as you would like. pulli23
Btw, on the fast floor times & deaths: also notice that the faster the floor, the less important deaths are.. In a 20 min floor if you can shave of 2 minutes of the time by everyone dieing once it's stilll faster xp! But shadowforger tends to combo me pretty well: getting hit by 3 splashes > eating > glowing starts > still eating > when does the eating stop, clickspam > bam back at smuggler.. First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. That boss is a [bleep] in a floor without much food. I do wish you paid more attention to Skype commands though. homer205
I'll shortly start being able to do warped floors and have some questions about the change. Specifically the strategy for the bosses (especially the first 3) and for portal rooms. If you can't be bothered typing out an explanation then could someone please let me know if the wiki is right on any of these?
DyingSilent
I'll shortly start being able to do warped floors and have some questions about the change. Specifically the strategy for the bosses (especially the first 3) and for portal rooms. If you can't be bothered typing out an explanation then could someone please let me know if the wiki is right on any of these? I'll just start by giving you some information on the bosses. [hide=Blink]Blink is probably the hardest of the 3 95 bosses. Basically, he runs through the room, and you have to activate a pillar, to raise it. This will cause Blink to run into it, and become attackable. One important thing you really need to know about Blink is that his "H...Here it comes!" attack is very powerful, but you can hide from it by raising a pillar. Blink already has low defence, so Bloodragers aren't needed as much as on some bosses.[/hide][hide=Dreadnaught]Not much to know about Dreadnaught. Just mage/hex him while running around the room, similar to Saradomin Godwars. Do note, if you get hit by his melee attack, a second range attack will follow shortly after. Last thing to know, don't stand on the orange spots he leaves on the ground. They hurt if you stand on them, but you can still run across them.[/hide][hide=Warped Gulega]Gulega is pretty easy, there's only a few things you have to know. Gulega is similar to Jad, in the way that you can pray switch. Your primary prayer is melee, while watching his attacks. When you see a bright yellow energy ball coming at you, mage pray. When you see greenish "wisps" (for lack of a better word), pray range. Generally hover over range pray, cause it's a little bit harder to see. Finally, watch out when he smacks the ground with his arms/tentacles/whatever. If you stay in the same spot, you'll get hit for all of your lifepoints, except 1, leaving you at 1 lp. Last thing to know about Gulega is that fighting familiars work extra well on him.[/hide] 2461/2496 Total, 35 levels to CompletionistSunstriker: Path to Completionist Cape

Watch videos to learn Gulegas attacks (you treat it almost like Jad) and having bloodragers will make this fight incredibly short. Treat Dread like Sara GWD, only you should be using mage. Tank runs from corner to corner until Dread switches target. Varying strategies on Blink. I do not know which is best. When he shouts "Here it comes", raise a nearby pillar and hide behind it. DO NOT randomly lift pillars when he is running about, as only one can be up at once. This is more a watch and learn Boss. Portal rooms are trial and error for me. Maybe there is a better strategy. Once in the middle, log to lobby then back in to finish unlocking the door.
