Hey guys, I must first thank you all for coming to read my thread...

 

 

After several months of "Just logging in to buy battle staffs and dig 1 ore for my kingdom" everyday,

 

I decided to come to tip.it and ask for help.

 

 

 

I have been playing RS since 2003, the first account i had was banned but is now retrieved..

 

the second account I play now is much strong and better in every aspect than the first one.

 

 

however, after I got 99 slayer and 99 summon nearly 2 years ago, I stopped training and ...

 

truly don't know what to do.

 

 

of course I know there many more things for me to do if I want to.

 

But I just don't have the intention to do them, considering the time I have to put in.

 

 

The first reason is probably I have less time to play RS everyday now,

 

the second reason is probably that I have found many other online games which are more attractive to me..

 

 

 

I sincerly ask for help here, what should I do with my account?

 

I still have p2p valid until 30th of December this year.

 

I have done all quests except the latest 2 quests..

 

 

I have 200m in cash and no idea in items..

 

 

 

 

 

I have thought about just dorppping everything and leave the game,

 

but do I really want to do this? after all the times I put in and with all the memories I have...

 

 

but I know I must go and I know this deep inside.

 

 

if I keep the account, with everything, perhaps I can come back someday.

 

 

or should I sell everything into CASH, and see what I can do with it?

Play other games. It's like dating other women. If they make you realize that you like rs more, then come back. If not, stick with them.

obviously not to be honest, but theres no point dropping everything. ive done that like 3 times and then come back to no money. just buy a rare and dont log in unless you want to! :thumbsup:

 

actually, maybe buy a santa or mask and then sell all ur items and level something with crazy exp rates?? i dunno.. u could get 99 magic or range if u havnt yet, done at soul wars :L

Quit. I never play for more than 2 months straight. Just stop playing, why do anything else ? save the account and invest your cash in a rare or something. Someday you might want to return.

I agree with what lalala said. If you're going to drop your money, I would spread it out among low levels personally. Not to anyone begging for cash, but just someone who looks like a spontaneous 1 million gp could brighten their day.

Take a break, see if you feel like coming back in a few months

Quit RS, but keep your stuff. Consider selling a lot of it for cash or, better yet, a rare. If you come back to RS later, fine. If not, then you've moved on with your life. Give some of it away if you feel like it though; something like what one of the posters mentioned, giving 1m to some random person or something.

Simply quit. You'll come back if you really feel like playing RS, which is as it should be.

Don't drop your stuff. Just quit for now. I've been playing since 2000. Took like 3 years off after rs2 came out. Now i actively lay maybe 2-3 months in a year. As soon as i get bored I'll take a break again. But thereare a ot of good memories with this game for me. So it is good to come back every once in a while. :)

Buy a rare, lend it for 24 hours everyday, that's a free daily 400-800k. Check up on MTK. Do some torstol herb runs with jujus. Flip your money. Max out your assist everyday. Find your weekly penguins and do your weekly tears.

 

Even with very little playtime you can make lots of cash and xp.

or go find a real non-pixel woman.

If bored, like I am right now, just take a break from it and come back whenever you feel like playing. And do not drop your items.

If you come back, you'll proceed with only a time-based hiatus, if you don't....well nothing was lost. GL in RL, or in other pixel based entertainment.

Don't bother posting if you're not going to read his message. He has membership for 8-9 more months and says he might come back later. If he wanted to quit outright he wouldn't have asked the question to begin with.

Buy as much rare stuff as you can, and then quit. Try another game. Take up a sport. Find a fun hobby, like...I don't know...railway modelling? :) .

Here's what you do:

 

sell all your items

invest in a rare

log out

log back in only if you want to

if you decide to come back sell you rare and buy your gear again.

Personally I'd just neglect to log in, and do whatever else you feel like doing.

 

You shouldn't feel forced to play a game, and it really doesn't matter if you have member's credit if you won't enjoy using it.

 

There's no need to buy rare items or "prepare" for a possible return, if anything, coming back unprepared when you regain interest in the game will give you something to do.

 

That's always worked for me. :)
