What happened to the thread where we posted pictures?! Is world 99 still the one where you HYT at edgeville and at least one person will know you? :/

 

Picture thread is still in this forum, it is stickied at the top so it doesn't move. And yeah W99 is still the "official" TIF world as far as I'm aware, I'm sure you'd get a few HYT's in return if you said it at Edgeville bank.

Was just hoping i'd see familiar faces but to no avail...

 

Are there any particular names you remember? I might be able to tell you if they still play or not.

Brrrrr... The ones I remember... Aussy or something like that, dabestkillas (i think they found she was a boy in the end), laikrob, trojann, allanson, wolfmon, saidinwot, it is girl? So many more on my friends list that aren't online as well :/

 

Well, your name looks vaguely familiar and just about everybody on that list you mentioned I knew at one time or another.

Alot of them grew up, graduated highschool, and probably left home.

I had "07" at the end of my name and this year I was able to loose the numbers. :thumbsup:

Anyhow, tipit was a close community back then and runescape was as much a social experience as a video game.

Alas, times change, people grow up, and Jagex went corporate.

Frustrating things change though still, I know why I left because I found TES: Oblivion, and then Xbox Live... The first part of your name seems too familiar as well. Do barrows still exist?

Yes, its still here.

Alot of the old stuff though is abandoned.

Barrows isn't top notch money anymore so its mostly mid level players.

Trojann actually logs in very rarely once in a while in game.

 

He was active for a while but he just quit a few weeks back.

Whenever someone says HYT to me, I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside. We really should do it more often again.

I never really stopped HYT'ing, and yes sadly the Edgeville World 99 is no longer the same place.

I don't mind it, really. Dungeonsweepers, who hang out in W99 Daemonheim, provides me with all of the tip.iting goodness I need while actually doing something at the same time. The unofficial friends chat (it feels weird calling it that) is still there as always, although I don't normally go on it.

I haven't seen Trojann on RS in a while. I'm Facebook friends with him, though. He isn't dead or anything lol

I haven't seen an HYT in a long time, but then again, I don't play enough to keep up/people to remember me. Oh well, people move on and generations change.

I saw a Tipiter the other day, but he's an [wagon] so I didn't HYT him.

 

Considering the amount of [wagon] on this site, I suppose statistically speaking this isn't surprising.

Whenever I see HYT pop up in my chat box, I always take time to respond, yeah. I don't usually say it that often, since most of the HYTers I know I'm also friends with, and any other tipiters I generally don't know that well, sadly.

 

While I don't know any/many of you older users, it's nice seeing you all come back :)
