I agree, but just because what, 5 of us? on this forum dislike the changes won't make them change it.

Speaking of COD4, I was playing it yesterday at my friend's house on Chinatown. It was hilarious; even though they had 2 capture points I was picking them off easily and I got at least 2 fifteen killstreaks picking them off from the central house as they tried to spawn camp us. :thumbsup:

Back on the topic of MW3 itself, I've been doing really well with the Barrett .50cal lately. I knew I was a half-decent sniper before recently, but I never did anything impressive. But for some reason I've been consistently playing 2:1 to 3:1 ratio-wise. I even almost got a quadfeed today. I killed 3 but then it split before I found the 4th. Still doing well though. I'm actually having fun on this game for the first time in a while.

The Barrett is the only sniper rifles I don't go negative by using because I don't even use the scope; I just run around doing hip fire spam when I'm near an enemy.

After making that post, out of nowhere I started sucking and getting absolute crap spawns. Like in one game I got killed and then respawned, literally before I could even tell where I was on the map, I got panic-knifed. I apparently spawned some enemy's way. Things went on like this until I got frustrated with the way people were playing and just quit for now.

Spawns are very frustating, and they aren't fixing them like they said they would do. I've been playing a lot less of this game lately.

Yeah, what happened to getting rid of revenge spawns? Revenge spawns work against me 99% of the time.

I played some FFA for the weekly challenge and I found out that the best way to get the first place and stuff is to turn 180 degrees every time you get a kill. Stupid revenge spawns.

 

 

I think and hope this is a hoax, but apparently whiteboy7thst is the new community manager for this game. If it is true, I'm done with this game, if they listen to him and make a game for him instead of what we're used to and having fun with, cod is going to suck real hard. This ragequitting [bleep] is going to ruin the game and cod in general.

I planned on going all the way to 10th, and then 15th when it came out, but I stopped after 5th. I didn't feel like losing all the pro perks I got and my gold camo-ed MSR.

Lol. I think Mw3 is deteriorating because of the players right now. I've bought and been playing a lot of ME3 lately. I usually go until the max prestige and lvl, but am unsure if I will do it again if they add another 5 prestiges this time since this game is going to shit because of the players. I have a lot of fun playing this game, don't get me wrong, but when I get a lobby of all campers, it [bleep]ing sucks. Cod4 or Mw2 are sometimes better than this game, even if mw3 is the one I liked the most so far.

decided to mess around with classes, got this idea from reddit

try and make a class as close as possible to a video game / movie character as possible (tf2 characters, 007, rambo etc)

 

doing scout atm

usas, grip and damage once i unlock it (wish we had the ranger from mw2, or brolimpia from bo)

quickdraw (isnt really any other tier 2 that i can think the scout would need)

steady aim (makes quickdraw useless as adsing a shotty with steady aim is worse than hipfire)

How many people here have ever gotten an MOAB (or multiple)? And if you have, any tips on play style? Personally, I play too aggressively to ever get 24/25 kills in a row. I don't mind if I die as long as I'm getting kills, so I usually just rush, kill 1-2 people and end up dying. My killstreaks are nothing impressive. Just thought I'd throw this out there.

23 kill streak only to get knifed(i had specialist so next kill was the MOAB) with an AA-12 no proficiency/big ammo.

 

the main play style that got me that streak/other close streaks is rushing+ sound whoring

 

i think that sound whoring is a good counter to the "dangers" of rushing(that being the spawn system/not having flawless reaction time)

 

also playing modes like domination with a good team and semi-predictable spawns will definitely help

would not advise demo/dz/headquarters/team defender for moabs as the spawns are just [bleep]ing insane

I once got a 24 killstreak once in demolition, but I was on the support killstreaks meaning I missed the moab by 1 kill. I did rush a lot and for once the lag compensation and the spawns were good to me (I keep spawning in front of the other team/near the other team so that tends to get me killed a lot).

 

Also, I beat my assist record in a game tonight with 58 assists in a single game (about 50 kills, and a friend got 103 kills in that same game).

 

Hooked up my HD PVR again and here are some new stats to put out there :P Mainly the number of assists (17k+).

Also tonight was one of the semi-good nights when it comes to lag comp so I played a bit more, but the lag comp is really inconsistent and some days the game is just unplayable.

So rushing with sitrep pro works pretty well? I used to use sitrep, but that was when I had a stereo system I could plug headphones into and hear really well. I still might try it though.

 

Also, I broke my previous record of most times predator missiled in one game. My old record was 7 (in TDM), and yesterday I played a game of domination where I got predator-ed an unprecedented 9 times out of 10 that the enemy team had. I remember because as I was keeping track, only 1 didn't go for me. Does this happen to anyone else?

yeah it works because the only thing you can get snuck up on by is dead silence.

I like how the wiki/game/etc still says sitrep pro is the hard counter to dead silence.

I'm pretty unlucky with them as well. That's why I decided to play with Blind Eye (well just until I have the emblem and title), and now I get killed by only half of them instead of pretty much all of them. One of my friends like me because I get killed by predators because when I'm not playing he's the one getting killed by these predators and when I'm there I'm the one getting killed instead.

Damn, sorry for double post, but the lag compensation is making the game completely unplayable tonight. Guess I won't be playing my favorite game tonight... I have a lot of fun in this game... When I'm not nerfed by lag compensation to the point where I shoot through people.... Feels like I'm playing Black Ops all over again....
