    I still don't like how levels only allow you to unlock abilities and equipment. Gaining a strength level should raise your max hit by a lot more than 1.

    I'm still not happy that they've made skill levels so useless in terms of direct contribution to combat (attack/def rolls, max hit etc). As it is, I can actually get hit by level 2 rats pretty consist

Because Java asks for permission for each new applet. The beta game will be an entirely separate applet from the normal game.

Wouldn't hold your breath on client running the beta, seeing as theres seperate play links on the site for the beta and the client is hardcoded to load the normal game.

No str/hp requirement on torva boots/gloves and bandos is 75 def. I wonder if that changes anything

They said "current". Jagex doesn't care if you were a member for 5 years straight if you aren't currently a member for at least a year. Why the surprise?

I'd expect them to allow previously long term members, even though they had taken breaks, nto as part of the auto enter, but as aprt of the 50k.

do we have to wait for the e-mail til we can get in, or is there another way?
