One word: Venison Jerky.

 

Ooooo I haven't had that stuff in YEARS! It's good. Then again, venison is always good. Especially in my dad's kale soup.

We turned 70 pounds of venison into Jerky a month ago .We got around 9-10 pounds of edible Jerky out of it.

That just seems to be a waste of good venison to me. Jerky is good but venison is much better when cooked properly.

It took roughly 4 days to do it all. We mostly dried it out in several dehydrators then hung it from the rafters of a smokehouse for 12 hours afterward to give it a good smokey flavor.

I used to eat that every day for lunch when I was little. I [bleep]ing love peanut butter banana. Hate bananas though.

Yeah, most hot pockets are just downright gross. The breakfast ones are very good though.

Does college have cooking classes? At the moment, the only thing I can make on a stove is scrambled eggs. Not something I'd want to eat for B, L and D everyday once I get out of college...

Tbh, if I had the choice between an ice cold drink and a pizza, I'd take the drink.

Depends when for me, in the summer i'd rather have a drink aswell. Or a BQQ, nothing can top a BBQ with beer in the summer <3: . But to be honest in the winter i love a good meal or a filling soup (y).

I prefer Winter, but we don't BBQ much, anyway. The weather agrees with me, where in the Summer I can hardly breathe.

It's nice, but all the apple juices started leaking everywhere in the oven for some reason. :(

Umm, to prevent the overflow, add either add some more flour or tapioca (it's rather amazing in pies actually!) to help absorb the excess liquid and if you're finding it too runny still, try to stay away from open topwork (lattice for example) and stick with a closed top crust until you figure out the necessary proportions so no leaking occurs. Also, always have a drip pan under anything you have in the oven... makes clean up so much easier!
