Shiny
You don't deserve them Dax. This thread is for food loving connoisseurs. As for that: Roast chickon, lamb, pork or beef? I'm heading towards a nice roast pork, with the fat rendered all crackly and crunchy, with apple sauce.

Sam
What exactly is in that? Cornish pasties normally contain some form of meat mixed with root vegetables like potato, onion, carrot etc. Very nice if you get a particularly well made mix with the finest pastry. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

SeyedKevin
Had lasagna with a thick layer of parm on top today. And you weigh how much now? One bite of that and I think my tin foil attire would become two sizes too small. 138 lbs, 6'1''. Do the maff Iron Man 2. Zierro
Indeed, cupcakes are a great pastime. Star.
How do you guys get into cooking? Looking up recipes on the internet, from books (recommend some? D:), parents/other people etc... Wongtong
How do you guys get into cooking? Looking up recipes on the internet, from books (recommend some? D:), parents/other people etc... The stuff I look at is over the top and more fit for extravagant dinner parties rather than home meals.Whenever I look at recipes and stuff on the internet (like on foodgawker) I always get in the mood to bake or cook food. Here's some things you can try:1. Help your parents out when they're cooking (offer to help) - they can teach you the basics.2. Cook something different for yourself for dinner/lunch, instead of plain old stuffs. But if it's like your first time cooking, don't offer to cook for other people, because you don't want the stress of having an obligation to feed other people.3. Get some recipe books out of the library. Well actually, if you're a beginning.. try some kids recipe book. But to be honest, cooking isn't even that hard. How hard is it to follow instructions? >_> 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! The stuff I look at is over the top and more fit for extravagant dinner parties rather than home meals. I watch a lot of Food Network and read /ck/. I just have an interest in cooking with fresh products, since the taste difference is worlds apart. But if you're talking about anything other than a interest--like, you're actually interested in learning how to cook, then pick up a textbook and a decent cookbook (inb4 Mastering the Art of French Cooking) and just work your way through. With the more practice you get, the more you'll 'get' food pairings and the skill to start experimenting on your own. Though, of course, nothing's stopping you from experimenting earlier!
