  • I really don't see how losing all of your stuff is fun.

  • Honestly, I've never seen it written like that before. I guess that's the kind of education you get when you're not spending half the time trying to keep polar bears and moose out of your igloo school

I'm overwhelmed by the irony of trying to make my point as concise and simple as possible... and then confusing the hell out of everyone    I wonder what other things I was taught in elementary s

Glad I didn't waste my money.

Chaotic Claw stats?

using the chaotic claws as example thats +3% increase of damage ... considering people pay way more money for less critical chance increase, I'd say it's good enough for a t70 armor.

Good job, Jagex.

Dual wield damage with abilities hasn't changed, so the new weapons are garbage. The chaotic maul is still the best weapon to use.

Drygore weapons have a whooping 4957 accuracy, head and shoulders above the 3043 of chaotic maul, so in high level situations where accuracy matters the drygore weapons have a chance of coming out ahead.

Set effects of the Nex gear is kind of underwhelming, and ports armour is definitely still going to be better.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

They put dg armours on the new curve.

You are basically un-hittable atm I mean ssh is giving 1100 armour!

It's still good yes, but I wouldn't buy an item like bcp who's price is so unstable right now just to have 26 damage.

Quick question: the new dual-weapons can be repaired by Chitin OR coins, right?

Ah, from that point of view - yeah, totally. Thank God I decided to get it last month xD

Apparently dual-wield weapons still have bad dps, so the new weapons are useless on release.

Also, can anyone screenshot the Nex set effects? It appears void isn't displayed like barrows.

I'm not sure how much effect it'll have. I mean bandos plate itself had +26 damage.

Quick question: the new dual-weapons can be repaired by Chitin OR coins, right?

The way Jagex worded it.

It can only be repaired with chitin.

Not using any food each kill. I don't get it.

With people dieing though, Bones TO Peaches ;)

Haha, those nex set effect bonuses are really cute. As for other gwd armors... what was the point of giving only the plate a bonus? So I guess I'll use that bandos platebody I already had instead of the veracs brassard, and continue using veracs helm and skirt.

Yeah they made it REALLLLLLY sound like coins can't be used:

"Drygore weapons degrade with use, and can be repaired with chitin gathered from enemies in the new Exiled Kalphite Hive. This will drop in the form of untradeable damaged chitin, but a smith of level 60 or higher can break this down into chitin scraps at an anvil. This will render it tradeable, and ready for use in repairs.

Alternatively, speak to Bob in Lumbridge to repair your weapons in exchange for coins, or do so at an armour stand in your player-owned house."

Oh sorry, must have missed that part >_>

Anyway, I had a look into some armor.

Bandos, arma and sub top all have +26 damage. No other gwd armour piece does.

Pernix, Torva and Virtus on the other hand have +15 on the top, but also +15 on legs and +7 on helm, gloves and boots.

The Nex armor set effect adds another +23 damage, giving a total of +74 damage for the entire set.

Few silent updates:

1) Captain's log can now teleport you directly to PoPtal

poptele.jpg

2) All PoP armour changed looks. Tetsu is now soft crimson colour, Death Lotus has more decorations with vibrant crimson motive and Sea Singer changed radically, now being purple-ish robes.

3) Finished dragon crossbow are now tradeable.

Great Runic Staff - level 90 magic weapon - 2384 accuracy ( only 1000 charges of single spell )

Armadyl Battlestaff - level 77 magic weapon - 2629 accuracy ( free air runes, cut "half" cost of regular spells )

I dont get it. Like someone said, in before melee everything according to Kalphite king drops.

Greater runic staff only requires 75 magic, it shows 90 because that's the rc requirement.

Kind of depressing that Tetsu armour looks almost rusty now, was looking forward to the vibrant colour scheme.

Can't imagine how mad all the guys getting the headband are though l0l

All the port sets have a rust red color scheme now according to the inventory icons on ge.

Yeah, I tried it. It didn't hit me that much even with ahrims, but it also took me about twice as long to kill as before (so 3-4 mins per kill). You should still be able to camp there for quite a while if you have unicorn/soul split. I only got 30 kc without them.

Glacors also seem to take forever to kill now. I used a greater runic staff which is one of the best staves in the game, but it still took me around three minutes to kill just one.

Is it just me or is trimmed 99 capes ridiculously overpowered compared to other capes like TokHaar-kal?
