February 25, 201313 yr Ape Atoll is same stock as Al Kharid, plus D Scim Some tips for early lvling:Generally, it's a "waste of time" to train low levelled skills w/o quests. A lot of quests will send you from lvl 1 to lvl 30+ without much effort. Lots of time/money saved. Recommended quests for quick lvls/convenience:Knight's sword (1-29 smithing)The Digsite (1-31 mining)The Grand Tree (gnome gliders; lots of attack and magic XP)Tree Gnome Village (spirit trees)Holy Grail (1-31 def; 1-29 prayer)Tourist Trap (1-26 agility)Waterfall (1-30 att and str)Witch's House (10-24ish HP)Fishing contest (safe shortcut underneath white wolf mountain) I haven't "trained" attack at all and I'm already lvl 41. Excalibur's slightly worse than a mith scimmy and has a special attack too. Nice cheap sword until I get a rune/dragon scimmy. I plan on doing Shadow of the Storm next for 1-27 ranged :D You can also get 1k hunter and slayer XP in the Varrock museum basement. Currently 19 herblore just from quests too. Still lots more to do :D

February 25, 201313 yr Forgot to mention... Look up "useless" items before you toss them. For example, I got polished buttons during digsite. but they're an item req for animal magnetism apparently. so I'm holding on to them :D After doing digsite, you can get a gnome drink as a bonus reward in the museum. this is an item req for starting recipe for disaster-- otherwise you have to make it yourself.

February 25, 201313 yr I totally understand why they want 500k votes for free-to-members access...but we probably won't get that in less than 4 days. I can't get mad at them for it, but I'm really sad that beyond this month I won't have access to the 2007scape servers, since I won't be able to pay the extra fee. The early release really pricked the bubble to drain out the anticipation that fueled the speed of the voting. Deviously smart, got to give them credit for it. Heh, I remember getting ragged on by someone about that when I mentioned it, as if I was demanding that Jagex pay for everything rather than simply saying, "Aw that sucks" with a bit of sadness and moving on. Real crazy stuff. I hope they'll consider having separate memberships like they did for funorb, so I can just switch entirely. That I might be able to manage if it's around what I'm paying now or at least comparable to current day membership rates. Dare to dream, right?

It's not that I'm currently planning to do quests that give construction xp, but just curious ;) I'd imagine you just get the xp, construction is only untrainable because PoH are turned off due to needing to find/make work the old poh servers. February 25, 201313 yr Got disconnected from server like 45 minutes ago. Still unable to log back in to either 07scape or EoCscape. Apparently my character is stuck in a world that went offline. What fun. This is something that really shouldn't happen. If you check at the RS official forums there is alot people with the same problem. Some people here only have barely that 1 hour a day to play, it's not very much fun that you can't even login for most of that time...

Well they've surpassed 50k votes a long time ago, so the 2007 servers have been brought back, the extra votes will decide how much jagex will charge for 07sape and how much development will be designated to it. In a clever PR stunt Jagex released free early access servers to anyone who has voted; thereby causing the 'not going to vote as not that interested but might check it out if it's free' camp to become the 'I'll go vote cause I can get on there and check it out' camp thereby injecting fresh life into the poll that was again beginning the flatline. If no one still has any xp in a few days I'd bet that these quests are unavailable or you don't get the con xp reward (yet). Eye of Glouphrie gives 250xp but requires level 5Fremmy Isles gives 5k but reqs level 20Great Brain Robbery gives 2k but requires level 30Darkness of Hallowvale 2k for level 5Cold war 1.5k for level 34Tower of life 1k for level 10 And that is all the quests in 07 scape that give Con xp, so its a mute issue as you cannot do any of the quests without 5+ Construction.
