Paladin57 Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 If someone organizes an event, and got, say, 500 people into someone's combat ring, and everyone starts casting bursts and barrages, wouldn't that mean massive magic exp? Say barrages do an average of 10 damage to everyone. That would mean 10 * 500 * 2 = 10000 exp per barrage. Seriously, someone needs to look into organizing an event like this. Everyone would gain magic levels like crazy. Would this be considered abusing a bug? :roll: Also, is there a limit on how many people bursts and barrages can hit? And what if someone got a huge number of people to come into one person's house, like 1000. You could probably get 20k exp per barrage in that combat ring. Although it would probably lag like crazy, which would be the only down side. Remember you can only hit 9 people at a time, but still, having a ton of ppl getting into the ring constantly and then a bunch of others casting the barrages would be awesome! :) Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. darkblade986 Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 Even if there is a max number of people it can hit, it'd still be massive exp, especially if everyone wore armor that was conductive to magic, yet allowed magic to be cast still... That would maximize damage completely. And regardless of how many people you could hit, you'd just have it set on auto cast, and keep choosing new attack targets. Massive EXP if you survive... rkolegendkil Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 First off you can only hit 9 people at once, then you need people with over 94 mage and I don't think many which posted have that, and then you have to spent a massive amount of money on runes, no to be a party pooper or anything, but it won't be great xp unless you wanna waste millions on xp that normally costs thousands.
