September 25, 200619 yr The bank does what it wants with the items. =p 99 Ranged F2P achieved 21 November (2961st)
September 25, 200619 yr Lol, so many rediculous theories about what happens. Its runescape, it doesn't NEED to make sense. What happens to runes after you cast a spell? The stones disapear into thin air? How the hell can you turn a block of solid metal into a mace with a dinky little hammer? And some of the NPC drops... What a thief would be doing with a copper ore and a cabbage is beyond me. Don't be afraid your life will end, be afraid it will never begin.
September 25, 200619 yr oh come on .... its called economy ... the bank waits until you highalched all the worthless piece of paper and when nobody is online the bank sells them to the general stores... and that is the reason there are always bows in the general store the bank owns alot more money than any runescaper can even think of ! but i still think with all the money they should be able to borrow me 20 mils with the minimum rate of 1%

September 25, 200619 yr Here is a step by sep breakdown of the alching of a yew longbow: Step 1 - Oh noez! This is where you put the yew longbows into notes. At this point the banker hands you 1000 yew longbows and secretly sticks a tiny little wizard into your pocket. Step 2 - Pomg! This is where you take out the 1k nature runes out of your bank. At this point the little wizard in your pocket secretly takes out a calculator while you arent looking. Step 3 - Safer!1111shift! This is the part where Your mouse opens the magic menu, the yew longbows engage alching mode, and the wizard takes out the calculator ready to calculate...stuff Step 4 - Daddy would you like some sausage? This is where you click "high alchemy" The yew longbow you cast it on is stolen by the little wizard in your pocket, he then uses his "moolah" spell to spawn 768 Gp. Step 5 - Eat your wheaties! At this point you have 768 gp in your invy and 1 less mage longbow, but secretly, the little wizard in your pocket has stolen your nature rune and your yew longbow, little do you know that the money he gives you is worthless to him :-$ But don't tell anyone
September 25, 200619 yr you can alch noted items?????? do they give you the same amount of gp Of course you can alch noted items, and yes they give the same xp. If you couldn't alch noted stuff I'd be very very poor. No whip for me.I've been alching items noted for awile and im still broke. anyway it's easy little wood imps eat the bows. Ponies!
September 25, 200619 yr It's magic! The note represents the item in the bank, so when you cast a spell on it, the spell is carried to the item through the note. After all, if a spell can transport you from place to place, zapping an item in the bank is no problem.
September 25, 200619 yr Oops! (Do not clean keyboard while using!) Roflmbo. That's hilarious and obvious. I cracked up when I saw that for some reason. lol ~Rcty Rcty
September 25, 200619 yr erm... think about real life banks... if you put in 1000$ and a later day take out 1000$, it is not shure that it is the same money... so the bank take the 3k bows, are happy that you never want them back, and could give them out to someother wanting "their" 3k bows back
September 25, 200619 yr To all those people ranting that it's a game, and who cares, have you ever read a book and wondered what happened to everyone at the end. Or written a story of your own? Or to get to the simpler people, watched a tv episode that cut out at the very end, and you have to wait a week to see what happens next, but your imagination runs around trying to figure out what happens? Have some fun! As you've already said, t's a game. Btw notorious, when a spell is casted using a rune, the embeded powers of the rune escape and shatter the vessel they are in.(the essense) The powers combine in a certain form or fashion, and perform their action. ~M
September 25, 200619 yr Well, it's all in file formats, see. Normal items are a file called .itm In note form, they aren't like, say a check. They are in a compressed format (.ztm). So what happens when you use a file format converter program (there's a good one called High Alchemy by Jagex Ltd., you can buy it for 55 mage, pretty good price), is it converts the .itm file to .gp file, which is money. High Alchemy also comes with an embedded decompressing thing, so it can decompress .ztm files to .itm files then convert them to .gp files. And that's what happens to noted items. Lol.

September 25, 200619 yr Banker 1: So Bob, what do you do with all those Yew Long bows? Banker 2: First of all, my name isn't Bob... Banker 1: Sorry Bob Banker 2: Well... When one yew long bow lovers another Yew Long bow... Banker 3: No Bob, he didn't ask where Yew Long bows came from! Banker 2: I'M NOT BOB! Banker 3: Sorry Bob. Banker 2: ... Banker 4: You know those random lumps in the wild? Banker 1: Yeah? Banker 4: They're actualy Land fills, filled with yew long bows! Banker 1: Really? Banker 4: Yeah, all the other random lumps in the land around Runescape are where we put other items. I just over heard the bankers in Varrock west talking about it.
September 25, 200619 yr You guys are on some kind of drugs..... Who would ever think anything like what you guys just wrote down... EVERYONE KNOWS ITS THE EASTER BUNNY!!!!!!!!! Who was on drugs again exactly? And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.
September 25, 200619 yr dont think outside of the box, stay inside. the box is your freind Exactly. RuneScape is a mythical-ish game, not reality. RuneScape has another definition of "logic". Asking questions like these throw us off... but, here's my answer: Little magical spy camera orbs designed by the temple knights... They watch you alch, then blow a massive hole in your bank safe and take out the item... And some other stuff. Temple Knights h4x0r j00!111
September 25, 200619 yr A little pixy comes down and magically vanishes them into her magic pixy land filled with gum drops and rainbow candy. She thn lies on the assorted notes and throws them up into the air in a drug like haze before resting for the night ready to do it all again tommorow. Or some crappy code vanishes them. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
