We all know slayer brought us the whip, which is so far the best attack and defence training that I know of. But it had no strength option so we couldn't use for strength :wall: (effectively that is, you can always use the controlled).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think hunting is gonna give us a new weapon thats as fast as the whip, but perfect for strength training. It's been something higher level players have been asking for since whips are so low now and it doesn't look like they will go up in price at all. Whips were a status symbol, now you can even see a level 65 with one (I just did on my way walking to seer's).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have no clue what it could be though, I'm thinking of a mammoth tusk or something but that would be way too heavy.

The Dragon Scimitar is awesome for strength training.

powerfull fast requires 80+ attack and strength my and all good str pkers dream :lol:

maybe the skill would introduce armor and weapons to all classes of warriors. So then everyone gets an upgrade. Maybe a bow thats higher then 69.

People already hit 40s with whips. You can already 2 shot a person whos a little hurt already. A strength version of the whip would just produce such crazy numbers. Maybe HP will have to be allowed to double to adjust (or scale back all weapon damage to half of its current level). Although that would greatly imbalance all the old stuff...

"Awesome" isn't really the word to be used here, its not that great, it's just the best we have really since there isn't much of a selection of "good" strength training weapons (excluding halberds, battle axes etc..)

Hardly, Jagex does care about us. It's just there's soooo many low level players, jagex has to keep them entertained to keep them coming back, they know us high levels will be around pretty much no matter what. :-$

I HOPE they make a new strength training weapon once Hunting comes out, and hopefully it'll be worthwhile (not something everyone can afford) and untradable! :thumbsup:

Seems logical to me it would either be weapons/armor made from an animal by-product (skin armor or bone weapons) or used in hunting (range weapon)

i think the new armor/weapons will more than likely be nooberly stuff like all the other updates.... higher lvls really don't get too much from jagex anymore

No, i'm talking about weapons that aren't special like barrows a bow that you don't have to pay to use.

I wouldn't doubt since they are actually caring about the stickied high level player suggestions in the suggestions forums lol. Or acting like it anyways.

The weapon(s) and armour(s) may not be related to Hunting, Jagex only said they are both coming out together, never said they were related. I think they will be seperate and on different dates, to create an ownage month for updates. I'm most looking forward to seeing the new monsters and LAND! :shock:
