November 20, 200619 yr Well i have personally noticed the tendency of female players to become skillers rather than males. Has anyone noticed this trend or am i just paranoid? Wondering what to do with life .....
November 20, 200619 yr im a female and i loathe skilling, i mean dont get me wrong i do it because i have to not because i want to! I'd much rather be killing beasty booty!
November 20, 200619 yr Im a skiller, and male... though, i do know 2 female skillers :) View the#1 suggestion on tip.it forums!

November 20, 200619 yr Women tend to be far more polite and well mannered than men, and as such, I think they'll find the competitive combat areas where you're constantly being ousted by other players stealing your kills, more annoying. I'm a bloke and even I'm driven mad by the constant bickering... I imagine it drives our lovely ladies right up the wall ;)
November 20, 200619 yr Im a male skiller during the week, but at weekends i become mary, the slayer viewtopic.php?p=3956321#3956321 Click here to view my guide to Your Kingdom

November 20, 200619 yr Males Can be lazier so i wouldnt Doubt it :XD: BTW: Nice double Post Drapit! ----Retired Runescape Player 1/13/07-----
November 20, 200619 yr I know a female player and she likes combat and slaying more than skilling. Her skills are a lot lower compared to her combat level. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
November 20, 200619 yr Okay, for the sake of making this thread reflect the community more realistically, if you're stats and gender support his hypothesis then there's no reason not to post  . Male Anti-Skilla for life. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
November 20, 200619 yr Are you talking real life girls? or in game girls. Because, for one thing, any one could make their runescape account into a girl and make it a skiller. First place Winner of Nick 6464 F2P custom contest.
November 20, 200619 yr prime example of this being wrong - Dymed. 99 99 99 99 with pretty bad non combat stats. Anyway, half the 'girls' are just guys
November 20, 200619 yr Frankly I've never bothered to wonder about this since it seems like a pointless thought. I did a lot of things in my Runescape life and skilling was one of them yes. =D> "300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"
November 20, 200619 yr Well seasons a skiller (#1 farming)and she was female when I met her. She had 90 combat but a month later 120ish :ohnoes: YOU! ATTEND TET EVENTS! CLICK HERE!
November 20, 200619 yr Women players tend to be bored housewives who have lots of time on their hands while hubby is at work, so runescape is their little escape from reality, most I chat to are skillers in one way or another, they have the patients to sit there and fish or chop trees where as most men are too gung h0 and just wanna kill stuff (this is just my observations my gf would kill me if she seen this post :) oh and shes currently fletching 100k willows ) Quit Runescape 10 jan 2007 - Playing again 2012
November 20, 200619 yr I wouldn't know really, I hate skilling. I just focus on combat stats. But anyways, I've met many skillers of both genders.
November 20, 200619 yr First of all, you can't tell whether a player is a male or female, only the character gender. I'm sure the large majority of players are male anyways. Skillers are usually created because a player already owns a main, and has gotten bored. So what they do is, they come up of a funny or hot feminine name to create a female account, and choose to have it as a skiller. I have accounts called Gnoat, Honeycupcake, Your Sugar, Big And Soft etc... Cool huh? :XD: Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots.
November 20, 200619 yr Not necessarily. What about Lara Barbara, Calorius, Lovvel.. Some of the best skillers and they're all male  - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
November 20, 200619 yr Most level 3 skillers are male. I've seen maybe 3-4 female ones, and at least 10-20 males. Lots of female ACCOUNTS are played by people who prefer combat. That's because tons of pures choose to make their second account female. However, every female I've met in real life that played runescape has prefered skills to combat. I'm male and I train combat a lot more than I do skills. There are maybe a couple skills I've gotten to a decent level but not that many. :| Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting!
