Relationship between skills and personality?

I wouldn't know anything about personality relating to skills I just try and have fun while playing Runescape ( the point of the game I think...) which for me is training slayer and combat throw some barrowing maybe some metal dragons, KBD, and the occasional quest or skilling break and thats good enough for me.

Just an average player with a horrible name...

Does 99 strength mean I like smacking people? >_>

No, it means you are or will be abusive to your spouse.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

i think those that have an insanely low total for thier combat example 100 combat with overall total not ranked are more braggy/pest control then those that have a high total 1600+ are more likely to be nicer/more knowledgeable bout the game.

but really you can't judge a persons personality by thier skills.

but to me mining/fishing/woodcutting are the ones that are more patient less arrogant.

I'd say to some extent yes, but doesn't always hold true.

For example, most of my experience is combat based and I have a relatively low total for lvl 123 combat. But, I never pk and I'm hardly a stereotypical combat jerk.

I find thieves to be very interesting people. Perhaps I'm being biased for my own people, but I've met very few rude thieves.

I dont like the idea of putting people into catorgories, people skill for many different reasons.

Everyone is an individual and will play the game in an individual way, enough said.

Timmy is so good at it that people ask him for help.

He Said Excuse me Hell Slayer can I speak to you for a moment, would you like to join a clan called The White Legion?

the fact that I have 99 wc, and 93 fishing tells you that I don't like spending much time staring at the game screen.

I also agree about the people that keep their defense at a good lvl are a bit more smart/logical, since they don't just think "hey I want to be strong so lets train strength"

I also think that people with a good farming lvl are calmer and more manipulative, the skill reflects their patience, and also farming is a less repetitive skill, so it shows how you can make the most of something if you have a good lvl.

Quit ragging on the high str. High str doesn't mean a thing when it comes to maturity...it's funny, so many of the people complaining about combat-centric players have weak combat. :-k

People who train herblore or farming seem to be the same as defense.

Oh yes! That is me!!!

but your herblore and farming is only 30 :?

Just kidding. But we did say that this doesn't apply to EVERYONE. Just a trend I've noticed.

i love training slayer and theiving <3: but im f2p for the next month so i cant

i was going for 90 slayer and 99 theiving, but i only have 40 hunter and farming, i guess im a very imaptient person. go figure.

my total is pretty average, 1515 at 108 combat, my problem is i get distracted to easily, so to keep myself focused i have to train skills that require more than the normal "sit 'n' stare" method, like slayer and theiving.

people with high level slayer usually have a lot of dedication since the going rate for exp is 10-15k an hour, people with high woodcutting/farming/mining are usually really patient, you need to be to get those skills high after all ::'

but indeed it often is the str dominative people who go "lol def n00b i wna fite 1on1 u **** teamer f u lol"... But not the good pures. More like the miniclip kids who come and think str is teh 0wn4ge, while the three actually are pretty much equal.

People with low farming probably <20 are impatient people

Hmm... This is an interesting topic that I agree with, I dont have high farming or herblore but I guess it would take some amount of patience to raise it but, with herblore it just costs money. This game is all about patience, the ones who have it succeed those who dont fail.

this applies to everyone(and if you disagree your probably lying)

people who train combat are usually powerhungry and whenever they argue wioth something they *always* eventually fall back on questioning you to fight and saying how much they can own you. also people who train nothing but str cant hit me in cw so they call me a def noob even though its only lvl 72. ive been called a def noob by a lvl 108.........sad?

i train melee cause it gets slayer up lol. I don't walk around sayin i can own people lol.. I do get respect from some higher players when they find out my stats tho. My melees aren't uber impressive but for my lvl i think they are quite dandy.. I really like raising my skill total alot i feel as though a high total gets respect more than just uber insane melees. i am not a power hungry person i just want the respect i think i deserve from others thats all

This whole thread seems to be almost stereotyping people based on their skills. Everyone is different and if say an arrogant person likes to raise str high then suddenly 99.9% of people who raise str high are arrogant.

OT: I've found that people who find an interest in agility tend to have quite a comical side (I've literally fallen off my chair irl laughing so hard at a guy I was talking with at the wild course ) to them.
