Odd Sounds in Varrock?

any one thought it could be thedark beast/ temmple guardian in the musaum that is making the noise?

By the way, I just noticed that (take a look at page 16 of the "screenshots" sticky)(for those of you who are too lazy, it seems that dark beasts share an intriguing resemblance with the temple guardian you kill in priest in peril. And there's a statue of one upstairs in the varrock museum.)

maybe its the underground part of varrock?

Don't mean to be Johnny Raincloud, but I have heard most of those sounds (Some of the weird ones and the footstep ones) for at least a couple of months now. See back in March I was burning willows in Varrock and I heard the footstep sounds and the off fountain sounds..I doubt they would've added it that long ago.

I think you can hear the sounds in the east bank. it sounds like bells. where is it coming from?

As for these other sounds, sounds intresting, I ought to check it ouy :-s

I always thought that faint tinkle sound was to do with Crafting, like people cutting gems or something.. You can hear that one in Falador East bank and around the ladder to the Mining Guild too.

Those small sounds in the banks are a mixture of 'normal' bank sounds like opening cash registers and player made sounds. (eg mixing potions, teleporting, crafting, fletching. ect..)

As for the sounds in varrock, I manage to record them so you could listen to them in more detail:

Now that I think about it, the second sound does sound alot like the "growl" a terror dog makes from Tairns Lair. It has that same type of low choppy grindy sound.

It sounds like repeated "doo" 's at different pitches really fast. It sounds like there's going to be animated st00f there in the varrock update.

im pretty sure that the sounds you are hearing are of the monkeys nearby... unless you mean the non member worlds too, then it must be a glitch.

I think it must have been added recently, considering nobody noticed it beforehand, and a lot of people stand around varrok fountain to notice it.

Yeah it's happened to me too, not only in varrock.

But on paths near seers and catherby..

It's really creepy it nearly sounds like someones screaming then fading away.

I went firsthand and I almost pee in my pants lol jk but it is very wierd
