I have lots of experience playing Runescape, but the one thing I have never done is make a pure and I have never pkd (player killed) either. Since range is my favorite combat skill, I am going to attempt to make a pure ranger for free to play only!

So far, as of this post, I have created a character called 0mni R4ng3r. I have been tnrough the beginners tutorial and have worked my way up to level 30 range already.

The way I accomplished this was I went through the Stronghold of Player Safety and got the 10k in cash, the safety gloves and the the two experience lamps. I immediately pure the experience lamps on range and that brought me to level 9 range right away.

Next, I went to the Grand Excahnge and bought all the clay I could with my 10k and 14 buckets. When I got it, I went to Varrock West Bank and filled my buckets at the fountain, made my soft clay, banked and when I was done, I sold it on the Grand Exchange and used my earnings to buy more clay and repeated the entire process. I kept doing this over and over until I eventually had 200K in cash!

Next, I went to the Archery Shop in Varrock and bought my range gear, every bow up to maple, and 1k bronze arrows. From 9 to 30 range I went to the Stronghold of Player Safety and trained on the level 6 muggers down there. I also banked every bone they dropped which helped to off set the cost of the arrows.

And thats when I told you

The back story....well I helped a friend get over this guy she fell pretty hard for. We got into the habit of talking a lot and we eventually fell for each other. We couldn't date though as I was 18 and she was still a minor, so we just kept it at that, still talked all the time...eventually her parents got sick of it and said we couldn't talk or see each other, and I didn't want to piss them off. I let my feelings die off but I didn't forget what we had, and I thought she'd done the same...and today I saw her and the guy I supposedly help her get over kissing and cuddling in public. I wasn't hurt because I still cared for her, I was hurt cause everything she said was a lie. Every single word. let me know how you like it, and gonna make it into a song with a friend, maybe I'll post that later haha

I've always wanted an SGS, so I figured I probably won't ever be able to raise enough money for one so the only possible way for me to ever obtain one would be to solo a hilt. I probably won't last very long soloing, so I want to see if I can at least reach 100 kills. It's fun, but it gets monotonous and I hate monotony. Though I'd say 100 is enough for a good chance at a hilt or even a Saradomin Sword, and it's a pretty easy goal so I figured I'd stick with it.

I'm not very rich, so my gear isn't that great. The whip is for KC, since it's the longest part of the whole process :P My stats are 87 attack, 87 strength, 88 defence, 95 hp, 71 prayer and 99 ranged.

First trip? I got about 1.8 kills. Heh. I'll try to do something (other than using brews/restores... I hate those!) to get at least 2 or 3 kills next trip.

Pros:

Amazing punk band from the golden era of music. They did a lot of work with Mtv, Tony Hawk's pro skater, univision, and many other companies in the 90's/early 00's. They have 10 albums out currently, and are still going strong!

Cons:

Other than it being over 10 years old, there's nothing I can think of that can take this song down !

So, my computer died on me, and this time my expert computer CPR skills couldn't bring it back to life. So, this is my first blog post coming from my Tohiba Laptop! Woo! By the way...regarding the girl, I asked her out, she said no, which I thought was kinda weird because she definitely likes me. Now I have another girl, named Alli. She... has pretty strict parents. She can't date anyone until she's 16, apparently. We're trying to set up something secretly, but...whatever. The valentine's dance is on the twelfth, and we'll see how that goes. Ah, almost forgot. A house we didn't own at the time was in the original Terminator. You know when the Governator goes to kill the middle aged Sarah Connor, the first one? We lived across the street. It's kinda cool a house I was barely 2 in was in a bloody movie.

It has been a few days since I've updated my blog. Not that I didn't want to.. I just didn't have the time. The past few days have been quite well filled for me. Last thursday, I spent my day with my girlfriend. Hadn't seen her in a few days, so there was some material to catch up on. In the evening I went to a meeting about the children's camp that my Volley club arranges. I am going to help organize it, which requires me to.. actually do things! I can't believe it :) but I am motivated to do so.

Friday was quite busy :o My alarmclock was set at 7:30 AM. I woke up and went to work. I work as an accountant (next to my study) so my day was filled with office hours. (8:30 to 16:45). After I came home I had dinner and went straight to volleybal for an hour, to train the girls team. I immediatly went back home where we had a 'pronkzitting' (there isn't an english word for it as it is a local happening). We celebrate carnaval here next week, which is a wicked party for 5 days (6 for some). Four and a half hour of straight performances. Dance, comedy, music.. everything. All done by locals. Quite a happening.

Saturday was busy aswell. I filled my day with mainly volleybal. Our own match we won with 3-2 (a 2 hour match! *gasp*) It was very exciting to say the least and I am still enjoying our victory at present time. After we came back, I went to see the match our highest team had that day. They won as well with 3-1. The girls that I train won with 4-0. (They have won every match with 4-0 this year!). In the evening I went out with the girl I told about earlier.. I believe I am actually in love with her. We'll see what happens. Leave my girlfriend and risk it all? Advice please?!

Of course, surprisingly I started the day with daily activities. Haven't done them in a few days, as I haven't been able to play. I noticed my bank was holding 400+ seaweed and 400+ buckets of sand. I quickly went to Lunar Isle and got myself their spellbook. 600+ Molten glass later ;) aaah the sweet sweet profits of daily activities. I also emptied me kingdom for a nice batch of herbs. As with last time, I didn't sell them. I just keep them in my bank as items. As long as I don't have it as cashpile I won't be wasting it on .. well .. what ever I waste it on. (I am a quick spender, not an efficient spender).

Seeing I was kind of lazy today, I went for the quick experience. I saw 72 firemaking, I saw Brawling Gloves (Fm) and I noticed the Yew logs which I was about to purchase of the G.E.

The obvious results:

The gloves aren't fully used and I am not sure wether I will finish them of with yew logs or magic logs. (magic logs are 25% more efficient but cost 250%?) That will most likely happen later this week. Can get 77 with these gloves I think. Not to high, not to low :)

After that, I went penguin hunting. Something I haven't done in ages.. so I thought why not! I found 9 penguins and the polar bear (thank you W60_penguins). I couldn't be bothered with the elven penguin. That spot is just to annoying in my opinion. Over the past period I managed to get 22 points. With the 14 I gathered today, that gave 36 points. (Basic Math is a winner).

36 points * 25 * 70 summoning = 63.000 experience.

Oh.. and I did 2 farm runs so far. First one, during daily activities gave me 45 avantoes! The second one wielded 42 avantoes! Now that is profit right there. Most likely doing 1 more farm round today. That is some profit right there.

P.S. If you have any ideas about something fun I could do (other then monster hunting) feel free to give me a tip. Suggestions are always welcome ;)

In my last post, remember how I said my week was going to go from good to [cabbage]? It went from [cabbage], to [cabbage]ter.

Our coach resigned. Why? His grandson who is short as our Coxswain, stroked it. All the parents got pissy about it. Then, our coaches son in law, his grandsons father, threats members of our squad. So, he quits, due to interference.

We have no coach now. It's going to be a hard few weeks.

Yay.

Woohoo, finished at about 11pm. Had enough time for a quick read-through of both pieces of work then quickly printed them out, submitted them online and have now washed my hands of them for the night.

As a reward to myself for doing them both, i am going to buy a hefty Mcdonalds meal tomorrow after handing them in. Double Big Mac, Large fries and a Large coke. <3:

Now my next port of call is the 14th Feb when i get a week off University. Officially it is a 'Events week' where they have various academic events and random lectures, but none are compulsory, which means a week off in Danqazmlp's English.

Time to do nothing for two weeks, wooo!

ok, so i've been stuck inside since sunday, the blizzards are up again. its a bit of a mess. so I booted up my Desktop, loaded up terragen and got at it again, this time going for a partially occluded night time sky using the same scenery as the last one.

Family Guy...

I watch it.

And it's not that bad, it's nice to have a laugh from time to time and relax a bit, certainly during exams.

But I can't figure out why some think it's the best out there (compared to South Park, The Simpsons, American Dad and Futurama).

Even though it's entertaining, it's annoying at the same time.

Why?

Pretty much every episode contains annoying fillers. Which are in my opinion, extremely annoying.

Cut them out and an episode will be 10-15 minutes long (or short).

It's funny once or twice, but some stuff just keeps repeating itself too much, it takes out the fun.

It's been a while since I saw American Dad, so I'm not too sure, but if I recall correctly, it doesn't contain the same amount of annoying fillers.

This makes it better, imo.

But I don't think it gives entirely the same laughs as Family Guy, still American Dad is slightly better, I think. Or perhaps the same, depends on the episode.

But I don't see how it can be any better than The Simpsons or Futurama.

The Simpsons is amazing (and the ratings prove it).

Futurama is amazing aswell, too bad there were only five seasons, but perhaps it's for the better.

Finally, there's South Park.

It's hard to compare it to any of the above series, but it sure is better than Family Guy imo.

Perhaps even the best of all five.

Not every episode is as awesome, but a lot sure are.

It's humour is on an entire different level than the other four series.

So, why is Family Guy the best out there?

After all, it's made by manatees.

Well today I was Slaying (and still am :P) and I achieved a nice number of levels :)

3. 81 Slayer

And then I went to talk to a friend of mine and it leaves me wondering why I started the Journey to 99 Defence and not Finish with 99 Fishing first....

I must go and search for the reason :)

Chapter two:

Once you have finished mining one bag of copper walk to the western part of varrock and go to the Grand Exchange (GE) and sell all of you copper.

Now, with that money buy one short bow, all of the plain leather items and as many iron arrows as you can.

NOW YOURE READY TO KILL SOME COWS!!!

Now that youre ready to fight, go to the cow field in lumbridge and start killing cows from behind a rock or something, or you can attack them from outside the field. Each cow you kill pick up the arrows, the cowhides (each one is worth about 230 Gp), the raw beef and if you want to get your prayer level up you should pick up the bones (I suggest you do that because prayer is very useful).I suggest you attack with the bow on accurate.

Keep killing cows, each time you get a full inventory go to the bank in lummy castle and empty your bag keep doing that.

Each time your range level gets up to a high enough level to get a new bow, go to the GE and get it.

I was really bored this afternoon cause I can't go anywhere with the snow.

I've gotta say 2009 was probably my proud year, simply from getting 99 agility and mining. Best part was agility was updated a week after I got 99 :thumbsup:, love the speed of energy restore while resting, and while listening to musicians; well bloody hell. I enjoyed 2009 even though it went by pretty quickly, now if modern warfare 2 online could be fixed, 2010 is gonna be insane!!!

But to the present, today after a weekend of putting it off I got a little tidbit:

I know there is a huge amount of profit to be made from making nats, but it's the amount of concentration required that turns me off. But the good news is I have a chunk load of programs to stream while I play, just today Chuck returned! it's just full of goodness, but all this streaming business will be explained in a later blog but I shall leave you with the best promo ever made!!!:

As I look around today at what has come to be, and think of what was I have noticed a lot of changes. The largest change I noticed was the user group. There are a lot of new users I don't know, and a lot I hope to get to know. I also noticed we have a new forum style, and it's well put together. I also noticed that Runescape itself isn't the same game it once was. With all these changes though I feel good. I feel good about the fact that this community the Tip.it community has remained a strong, and positive force that can stand the test of time.

I come back here hoping to be accepted back into this community as I once was, and that I can bring all the fun that I use to give you all with me. A few of you have made it to my official opening event, and now that the event has happened I am officially back. I look forward to making many more events. If just 1 person has fun because of me i'm happy.

Well, yesterday I was happily slaying the last 10 abby specs of my task with about 50hp left and mage protect on. I noticed the pregame of the National CHampionship would be on about now, so i walked 8 step to tv, turned it on, switchde channels, turned it on. Come back to computer, in lumby with about 200k of my 2.3m i was holding. Yeah, nobody blessed. Lost most of my bank. Had to go take all my 1m out of mtk and buy all my supplies again. I had 10k left... Now, i have worked that up to 150k through some randoms and selling random stuff.

Today----

Today I finished my spec task....ftw? The last 5 of them... I then went to fish, which is where i sit now 10k from 66. Was 64 at the start of today. Fire giants task after this.
