Gop F'ed Up.
We all know GOP is a poorly done minigame, sadly. Jagex seem to be intent to ignore calls to revamp it.

[Devblog] Volunteer Moderators + Introduction
Wow, they're really going for the whole community thing now, and I really like it. It's true that Mods should be about being great members of the community as well as reporting well, so they're going in the right direction. Three thumbs up from me.

Herb Death increase?
Alright, if you're noticing a trend, start a data log and confirm/disprove it. There's no point arguing over something if there's no hard data. Cmon guys, you should know this.

23 July 2009 Brazilian worlds (Runescape in Portuguese)
Just give it another few months  Is that just optimism or do you know something I don't? I hope you're right anyway. A Spanish version is long overdue. Maybe Latinos aren't a big demo for them? Here in Southern California a lot of Mexicans play rs, me being one of them. Remember, they're a company, they aren't gonna waste time making a spanish version of RS if no Latinos are gonna play. I would have thought that 300 million Spanish speaking people in Latin America and 47 million people in Spain would be a bigger demographic than 190 million Brazilians and 10 million Portuguese. Whenever I go on the French servers, most of the people on there either don't speak French or are Canadian and speak English as well. So I'm sure a Spanish version would be more popular than that, at least. I suppose Jagex must have received more requests for Portuguese than Spanish, because as far as I know, Latin America isn't big on the online gaming thing, whereas Brazil is developing online very quickly now. It was probably a bigger challenge too. Spanish RS is probably already in the pipes. Oh, and congrats Jagex for translating your entire game into yet another language!

PETA Forums Shutting Down - The Rest Soon to Follow?
For an example of why we don't hold PETA in high regard, look up their spoof flash game of the Cooking Mama series. That should be all you need to see. These people are f#$%ing psychotic. They just do so much random, crazy [cabbage]$% that it makes the whole animal rights movement look just as crazy as they are to the majority of people on this planet. Yeah, that game actually made me want to eat turkey. Bleeding eggs and all.

[DevBlog] Updates: Upload Manager
Knowing Jagex, they're working on one. It'll probably look like one of those doomsday buttons requiring three keys to open the button cover.

PETA Forums Shutting Down - The Rest Soon to Follow?
As much as I would love to see them go, I doubt they're getting rid of the forums because they're going down the drain. Something like animal rights activism goes better in a social networking site than a forum, because they supply features which encourage active and group events, as well as being downright popular*. It seems a logical step for me. *The people there would probably have less of an idea of what PETA is campaigning for anyway.

6 RuneScape Fonts - with 200 characters each!
I suppose it would be very useful for faking screenshots, amongst other things. It must have taken a lot of work though, so, well done Wolfie!

New Icon Discussion [BIG UPDATES]
Great idea, but that kind of thing would do well as a feature of the 'notes' tab, not a separate one. I reckon it's a voice chat feature.

Jagex Games Studio?
Ah, I've got Jagex Games Studio. It seems much more friendly than Jagex Ltd., I wouldn't mind the switch. It gives a better idea of what they do, anyway.

Good, free anti-virus programs???
I don't believe there are any. Seriously, just pay for one with a good reputation (I use Panda Antivirus, but there are others) for general use. But if you're just using it for, say, new builds, use AVG until you can get hold of a better program.

Please help me get Norton Internet Insecurity Uninstalled.
Norton is hideous to uninstall, (in fact it's just hideous) but I'm very surprised the Norton Remover Tool doesn't work. If all else fails, then you might just have to back-up, reformat and reinstall your hard drive. Sorry. :(

Brawlers ---- Now Useless.
I think Maldrith(or w/e his name is) should sell a new item. Protect Brawlers. Carry it in your inventory, and it will protect only your brawlers on death. Of course, it should be a hefty price, and not count for gaining ep. This way combats the following: 1.Wearing brawlers is still a risk, however you won't lose them, but rather the protecting item, which is worth gp. 2. Because the item costs money, losing brawlers will still be expensive. This item shouldn't count for gaining EP, just like noted items. 3. If you want to gain ep, you still have to risk an additional 75k. 4.Brawlers continue to have a use as they won't be destroyed every time you are pked in them. 5. The new item would contribute to sinking money out of the economy that pvp brings in. Er, no? People are already banding together and creating groups to protect each other with brawlers. For once, people are banding together, getting great rewards, and having fun all at the same time. Teamwork has been really lacking in the game recently, so the emergent system we have right now is actually really good.

Brawlers ---- Now Useless.
When your 'chance' of losing said bonus item is 100% on death, well then, it isn't 'risk' anymore, it is certain death; for some of the gloves anyways. For instance, the Agility Brawlers, if you want to do it in Wilderness Arena, well you won't last more than a couple minutes before being hunted by some clan or another--whether you risk 75k or not. At this point, rather than getting a few minutes of bonus experience, you are just better of alching it or whatever. This will be the case for quite a few of the gloves. Before anyone points out that there was no risk before; not true. I received Woodcut Brawlers(from a legitimate kill under pre-BH PVP system) and I used the spot in varrock. I took decent armor there to defend myself and often Pkers would show up, ultimately, after around I would say 70% use, I *did* get killed by some TBer/Ancient combo, and I lost 2M in addition to the gloves. If Jagex wants to give me that kind of risk, fine, fair enough--where I at least have a *chance* of survival. However, making it so that the gloves are ALWAYS lost on death is ridiculous. Armor or no armor, you will fall before some clan or another--soon than later. So you can't handle it, that's fine, it just shows that you're not resourceful enough. Why not work in a team for mutual protection, or work out some other defensive strategy? For once, big rewards aren't going to be handed out to the players on a silver platter, it's going to take dedication and some smart thinking. Go on, try it.

Main reason why teenagers shouldn't get tattoos
Oh yeah, there's nothing really wrong with them, it's just that they don't look great.

Main reason why teenagers shouldn't get tattoos
At least it's possible to remove tattoos now. Personally, I'd probably never get one because I've never seen a design that I've looked at and thought 'wow, that's awesome, I want one'. It just doesn't work for me. Piercings in, ah, 'unusual' places are worse.

Need help :?:
It's probably a Trojan which is designed to break down or bypass your anti-virus/firewall from the inside to allow a more potent virus in. In any case, delete it, and it probably is a good idea to change any important password which is saved on your computer.

Scientists create 'test-tube' sperm
People have a very stupid obsession with children that share their bloodline. That's a tad unhealthy. If someone can't have kids, then they can adopt. We actually need more infertile people who can fulfil this role, not less. I'm guessing they used a similar technique to cloning to do this, but with different cell types. If they did, this isn't exactly a breakthough, we knew this was possible. A saviour from what? We're going to have problems with over-population, not under-population.

Identity
To me, the idea of incarnation as other being makes no sense. I am the sum of my experiences and abilities and ideas, even the strange innate ones. How then could I exist as another being, raccoon or otherwise, one who has not experienced the same things, does not have the same abilities, the same ideas? If I did, I would have to be considered as another being, since there would be nothing in common with Human-Will and Raccoon-Will. The separation of two individual selves is logically implied. You can use terms like the soul if you want, but be very wary about it. It's more of a state than a thing, and defining it doesn't really work very well, it's a limit of our language.

Paradoxes
This. Every "moment" in time creates a new universe. Not just one, infinitely many, because there's an infinite number of things that could happen (although they would all be highly improbable) between one moment and the next. The multiverse isn't just infinite, it's insanely infinite. Or you could just use Occam's razor and say time travel isn't possble : That's the suggested implication of the proposed paradox, you're just giving in. My solution both destroys the paradox and keeps time travel logically possible. ;)

Weather?
I'm not sure what the problem is here. The entire world map is not going to have just one type of weather, it could be raining in the Feldip hills but sunny in Karamja. Every region would have a range of possibilities for weather, but it's not going to snow in the Kharidian desert very often, and it's not going to be a heat wave on Trollweiss mountain unless some mages do something horribly wrong. Which is a possibility, now I think about it. I don't think Runescape has established seasons, as such, just months. The climate varies from one place to another so much that seasons just don't make much sense.

North Korea Fires Ballistic Missiles: Seoul
Alright, North Korea. If you're going to randomly attack a country, just get on with it so you can be blown to smithereens two hours later. If you're not going to, leave the rest us alone. Just go away.
