Forget this degrade BS, F2P now deserves dragon weapons...
Nobody pays $6 to use claws, snakeskin armor, smithable spears, halberds [excluding Dragon], or anything else that you don't ever bother using in your bank.

Safing? Really noobish or just a tactic?
Purely noobish. If they want to waste time typing "safer" while I'm raining blows down on them, I don't mind -- I'll still get the kill.

lower grade armour replacing rune in f2p pvp worlds?
Use what you like in battles. I'll still be using my Rune. Lower grade armors won't be replacing it any time soon...

MUST WATCH: UPDATE: Holland considers virtual theft a crime
As far as the "not stealing anything" argument goes, I think we're not seeing the forest through the trees... To begin with, yes, everything - your avatar, your account, your items - belongs to Jagex, however, you are still de jure the maintainer of that account, avatar, and items. This means that, while you haven't actually bought anything, you still own the amount of time and effort put into it. You've got to stop and consider that the kid put his time, effort, and [his parent's] money into that account, ergo it is conceivable that he holds some stake in the items, so long as he remains in good standing with Jagex. What the other two boys were trying to do was to steal his efforts into the account (not the actual items, although it reads like such!), and claim them as their own. That'd probably fall under some statute, but I'm no lawyer - I just pay attention to the ToS. In summation: Jagex owns the account and items, but you put the time and effort into them to make them desirable/high theft targets, so you can at least take the attempt on your stolen efforts to a court (in the Netherlands, at least). By the by, community service for threatening a kid with a knife? What the hell. Give that kid 6 months in prison, a 2 year ban from a computer, or both. They let the little bastard go with a slap on the wrist...

Teleporting Cure-All
...or we could reduce the level to use Teleport Block, and give it to Freeplay...

PvP "safing"
The only person that cares about someone safing is someone that limits their own character's abilities, and demands that everyone does the same [even when they won't]. I've PKed on pretty much all of my accounts, but the thing is that I really can't be bothered to listen to their rules. Honor? Take your honor and put it where the sun don't shine; this is kill or be killed. Those so-called "PKers" that run off into safe spots and/or teleport are the ones that didn't get the message; I come prepared.

Barrows - Do you mind the degrading?
The only thing that bothers me about the degradation is that it was implemented so that Dragon armor would not become undervalued...Other than that, I'm fine with it.

Lock this please
Why the hell does it say RC then? When a software has rc after it's name, i interperate it as "release candidate". Yes, I am quite well aware of the naming schema that Java uses for its release-candidates. However, could you please explain this page, since I can't see "RC" anywhere on there?

1. How many things do you have running when you attempt to play RuneScape? This is a huge factor since it turns out that your machine is barely capable of running RuneScape as it is -- the graphics card comes in at bare minimum specs, and you don't have enough RAM to really multitask. [i'm also curious as to what speed your processor runs, you forgot to mention that.] 2) Java 6u10 isn't a release candidate; it's very much stable, and I'm using it right now on my laptop. 3) Have you defragmented your machine lately? What is your OS, specifically (probably XP, but I won't assume).

Attitude from Pkers
Well shoot, that sums it up. The PKers are back, so their idea of a "perfect" PK where they win and you don't returns too. I'm going to sit back and pray for an update to severely hobble players like that. So your idea of a perfect pk is for you to lose and for the person you attacked to win? I don't think you quite caught my point. I know what you said, you don't know what you said. Basically, this... ...was my point. You didn't quite see the implied fact that PKers will happily whine about anything that doesn't go their way, which was what I was getting at the entire time.

Here are some facts on PvP Drops...
Well, there is teleblock. I think Jagex needs to create items for Melee and Range that also creates a teleblock. I'm thinking a level 80 bow and shortsword each with a special that teleblocks opponent. The only problem is that Teleblock isn't for freeplayers. Anyway, I believe that a dismantling blow-type of damage should be introduced. At the very least, it should prevent others from teleporting for a while.

Pvp drops
Usually once before each rune kill, sometimes 2 or 3 because of failed attempts or being attacked by others. I do usually get a couple of 1 itemer kills before I go after people in full rune without banking. An inventory of lobsters does disappear fairly quick with 1 defense when people are hitting 18s. Basically, the point of that question was to confirm that you didn't really read up on how the system works. Every time you bank, your chances for getting a better drop reset. This way, it rewards those that have endurance and not pures (and don't look at me silly; I have three active pures with this system). The system wants you to stay out in no-man's land for as long as you possibly can (and ten minutes is pretty short), which would probably mean 35 minutes to an hour for a really good drop.

Pvp drops
So, how many times did you bank?

Pking Worlds
1 itemers existed back in the olden days, you know. Deal with them, ignore them as best you can. And if you can't ignore them, kill 'em off.

Your views on -4 iteming in f2p? (1.4k views!)
While there are still some adjustments that need to be made to those experiencing PvP for the first time, I'm not necessarily in favor of 1-4 iteming. I'd prefer it if a system where it would punish you for the next 25 consecutive full-geared kills were implemented, since when you go out with just a scimitar, you're not risking jack.

PVP: To pray or not to pray
I trained my Prayer so I could use it, and I'll be damned if someone tells me I shouldn't be praying.

Internet Speed Tests
Did it while I was at school one day, working on a CS project/discussing the aftermath of a test. I'd expect that much, since the campus is literally eight blocks away from Qwest...

Effect pvp worlds had on Bounty Hunter.
Wait, what? How the hell can it make RWT easier if you can't get your opponent's items?

Forget this degrade BS, F2P now deserves dragon weapons...
Who cares if we don't appreciate them? As for that matter, where are you pulling this assumption from that members don't appreciate dragon weapons? I certainly appreciate my dragon scimitar, goes very well in combination with a rune defender for training strength. F2P don't deserve to get things that fall down the P2P ladder when new equipment comes out, in fact F2P don't deserve anything full stop. It's the "who cares if we don't appreciate it" attitude that makes me feel the way I feel. Many of the things that Dragon weapons have done have been replaced (read: usurped) by Whips, the Saradomin Sword, and all other manners of higher-order weapons. On top of that, it's very hard (if not impossible) to find someone with full Dragon, fighting someone else. I also said that Freeplay doesn't deserve it, but you haven't refuted the point that Members really appreciates these things. All Dragon is used for now is just a shiny status symbol.

Rare demand once again?
I doubt it. The way that a PKer can make money now is if they're trawling deep wilderness in some really awesome gear for about an hour and a half.

Forget this degrade BS, F2P now deserves dragon weapons...
Freeplay may not deserve Dragon weapons, but it isn't like Members really appreciates them, either. I've said it since Splitbark armor came out -- give freeplay what we don't use, and create a demand for it. -.-

What if JAGeX went straight from old wildy to new PvP Worlds
More or less, the same amount of backlash/resistance against the update would have occurred. The type of people that hated those updates would have probably hated the one we have now, so I don't really see much of a difference. Show me a statement where Jagex definitely said that RWT was killed without question. To begin with, the central entity that defines the value of items isn't central at all - it's the players that do that. It always has been, and even when the GE came out with its price floors/restrictions/what have you, players were able to set the price of trade after repeated use of it. Besides, junk trades have been around for a long time, I'm surprised that no one remembers it. Pardon my language, but... If you know so damn much about this thing, then why the hell haven't you told Jagex how to fix it? Do you WANT more updates focused towards RWT? Or do you just like acting like a know-it-all, and treating Jagex like they're dumber than dirt? God, people like you piss me off...

October 15th 2008 - PVP Worlds + Game Log In Improvements
Free players with dragon armour?? And thier goes one of the benifits of membership. I don't care if it only lasts for half an hour whats the point in members earning armour the old fashioned way if they can get it easily from other players. Yeah, and how many of us actually use Dragon armor on a regular basis besides me? [And I don't care if they give it to freeplay anyway...]
