You could always just use the official RuneScape client and use firefox for general internet browsing. It what i do and has been a good combination for a few years.

Surprised no one thought of this yet. He will probably let you have his account for a while, then when and if you transfer your items over to it, he will probably then steal it back, along with all your items. Stay away from it and keep playing your own account.

Jagex > f2p macroers. I dont think this will stop it though, the people using the "throw away" characters will just pay the membership to mine and sell pure essence at an inflated price thus earning them more gp which in turn, lets them make more real life money so they can be able to susstain members to these throw away characters. If you think about it, the pure essence will cost more than normal essence so if these miners just pay $10/$5 a month to get members so they can mine the pure essence, sell at a higher price, make back what they spent on members and then some. Perhaps this will bite them in the [wagon] and not discourage autoers, or perhaps it will be a roaring success. Guess time will tell.

I dont wash my hair because it goes curly and fluffy and it annoys the hell out of me, but when i do wash it, it smells like what ever shampoo i grab first. I wash with Lynx Reload shower gel and deodorant depends on what i buy, at the moment its Dimension or Voodoo.

Scan logs wont show us where all your... cute baby animal pictures are, it will show us what is running on your computer and hopefully some one can find the root of the problem.

Last time i checked, norton wasnt an internet brower :wink: Bottom right hand corner, look for the little speaker, double click on it and the volume control will open up. Make sure they are all turned up and not muted. Make sure your playing on high detail and that the volume controls in game are turned up. Check your speakers and make sure every thing is plugged in and has power. If all those options fail, it could be a problem with hardware or drivers, but hopefully it wont come to that because thats a whole different problem.

Or even Jagex's own knowlegde database! Oh noes, its good for something!!

That and theres no point in buying a top of the range card that the rest of your computer wont be able to keep up with. In choosing a slightly less powerful card your getting something that keeps a balance with all your current hardware. That and your saving a bit of money.

If your going to try and download as much as possible, just make sure your internet plan allows it. Wouldnt want to have a sky high bill now, would we?

PCI-e slots are universal, they work with both nVidia and ATi cards. Also, i dont see the point in asking about this now if its going to take you a few months to save up because in that few months, things will change, prices will drop and new models will come out. I suggest you come back and ask this question again when you have the money to buy a new graphics card.

If this is the exact same model as your computer, your's should also have a PCI-e x16 slot. So hopefully that answers the question about it being PCI-e or AGP. One thing though, how much do you have to spend on a new graphics card?

First and foremost question is, how much are you looking to spend?

Have you tried using the official client? Do you have the most up to date version of java? Perhaps its a problem with your hardware, it could be a cooling problem because IIRC, most newer CPUs turn them selves off when they get too hot to prevent themselves from dying. Could be any number of possible things.

Yeah, either one of those would do fine. The one i picked was one of the cheapest with an actual 24 pin connector, thus the higher price.
