  1. I actually disagree with you tiezen. Dragon items tend to be the most preferred for anyone who just wants to sit and camp at monsters. I guess it is really just personal preference, the battle between less stats with non-degrading, and higher stats with 10hours useage per set.
  2. Kinda annoying actually...the new update brought in tons more people, and without new worlds, those people are clogging up runescape. New idea for jagex: 5 new worlds...and/or increase the limit in each to 2500ppl
  3. Lol...they got everything right minus the minigames/quests...kinda sad that they removed a bunch of'm from wildy...seeing as the wildy ones were suppost to be dangerous...
  4. Lol...but it wasn't a crash...it was a crash lobster!...hmm, I guess it doesn't work...lol
  5. Lol...with free trade out, all it is truly gonna do is introduce a flood of new scammers, thus making items tough to obtain legitimately. 100mil whips ftl...
  6. I've been playing for a little over 7 years, and I can honestly say that your arguements have no real merit. Runescape is always going to be a top-level heavy game due to the way people play it. Let's say someone joined in 2005, and sees a lv100. Chances are they're going to want to get there, so they do. This trend continues and we end up with tons of top-heavy accounts with lower-levels trying to copy. The only way runescape will be bottom-heavy is if more members join to make up for the ones that push to higher levels, which, judging on how many online multiplayer console games (halo/cod) have fared, is too unlikely. To answer the question 'is runescape dying', your preferences/trends always do, and you will always like/hate different things through life, as without that, vegetables would be unemployed. The game isn't dying, but your trend of liking it is.
  7. Lol...darn jagex. If only they didn't think updates through, then maybe they'd get rid of all the scammers. Seriously, runescape is always gonna be filled with idiots, that's why I invented 3 simple tips: 1: hide your email- on all sites you use for runescape, hide your email so noone can see it. Chances are, if someone can see it, then a scammer can too 2: public/private chat set to friends only- unless you are expecting someone, it usually isn't good to have them set to anything else 3: don't trust anyone- unless you know them in r/l, anyone you meet online shouldn't be trusted. How do you know if they've been hacked/their accs are being used to scam.
  8. 70atk first for whip, to make training easy...
  9. I got the link too...nearly lol'd when I heard that my cousin almost fell for it...especially since his acc has like 5 99s
  10. Lol...yet another diy'er...makes me wish I didn't have so much waiting for me when I got back to runescape, then I'd join in too. My advice: add a quest cape to your goals, seeing as most quest items will save you a tooon of resources (fairy rings/sw cape/elite void)
  11. I'd advise fishing and/or cooking. Legionwizard brought up a good point earlier, as with the old wildy coming back, everyone will need food, and the price of lobbies/monks is sure to rise...
  12. Darklight spec stacks, but only vs demons, and it will work, as it always rounds up...
  13. Oh yeah??? Feel the power of sideways stick man: O-}-<
  14. Kinda sad the way jagex is killing off the revs..'Hey everyone, we're f'ing up the game again and letting you guys pay for it...who wants to kill revs!'
  15. Don't forget fish/log running...most people can't bother to bank their ore/logs when they're far from a bank...I'd suggest trying the rimmy yews in f2p (hopping in between p2p to bank), and/or some of the mining spots outside ardy...
  16. 24 hours is all it took me, elite void is from those pest control related quests, and in comparison, it has a pray bonus and I think better stats...
  17. Lol...any world with a lack of people tends to be the preferred one, and/or any one where you know people are rev hunting...
  18. It is truly sad...seeing as back in the day, you'd train and talk, and possibly learn something. Heck, the people I fished with as a noob opened up a football/hockey pool on runescape back then...darn bears lost me 50k...lol
  19. Pest control is probably quickest, seeing as games usually take 1/4 of the time soul wars ones do, that and you get free gp from pc...thus earning profit too?
  20. Lol...I completely do not support this, seeing as generalization is the death of all wbm's. One american sees a black farmer, generalizes, and boom: slavery. One german gets picked on by a jewish kid in high school, generalizes, and boom: ww2. Giving 100 people false reports isn't worth catching the maybe 2 or 3 actual botters, seeing as if jagex truly wanted to stop botting/rwt, then they would've fought it by suing each and every one of those sites rather than blindly supporting it with free trade...if jagex truly wants to make this game better, then they'd make punishments more severe for botting/rwt, and/or accept screenshots of the suspected rule-breakers...
  21. Lol...my friend got a mute a little while ago...apparently he was talking about wanting to join the basketball team at his school, said that he 'wished for a few more inches to make the dream possible'....a couple kids in the bank he was alching at thought he was talking dirty for some reason...lol
  22. Athletic midget, after all, didn't pam anderson date one? Would you rather have true love, or any superpower you wanted.
  23. Lol...don't worry phi, I've decided to get my atk cape first, seeing as I'm only 6 levels off that. If I planned it out right, we could work on wc capes over the summer?

    Lol @ kids

I'll answer that question pretty simply. Jagex has been wanting to make a push toward that younger 'audience', so much so that they've more or less destroyed the game for everyone else...ie: giving rule breakers second and third chances, and making their current system so simple that even if you do break a rule, you can literally type 'I have membership' and they'll waive it. The mods I had a problem with a few years ago were apparently ages 11-15, according to a friend of theirs who just happened to be alching there that day. The fact that jagex hand picked these people to become moderators makes me laugh every time I remember this story. This thread started off with a guy complaining about cleeeeaaarly young-aged players, and I simply added onto it. Explanation complete.

    Lol @ kids

Lol...I actually think this thread is funny...seeing as it allows us older people to rant about the noobs of the younger generation....take that future!
