this is kinda stealing douglas adam's idea but a towel that is waterproof, has every vital nutrient for survival (suck on it) and alows you to survive for a month before having to soak it in a neutron star. oh along with those abilities it has all 1001 other uses of a towel (remind me to look up what they are)

Yes, over 600k members. 5 bucks a month. Someone do the math, because my calculator just broke. Over 3.6 million... every month. :shock: And he puts money back in the game. His updates are frequent and top quality. He spends a ton of money on staff. He never raises his prices. He supports player querries, and supports a game forum. He listens to the feedback of millions of players.. and acts on it. His development staff is huge. Hes dumping money back into the game, and its paying off by growth thats hard to believe. This guy is my hero. Can you imagine being a multi millionaire off of a computer game? That you invented? Thats as cool as runescape? I noticed a few problems. Hes not the company CEO so hew probably making quite a bit but not as much as these estimates. That doesn't include employee salaries. Oh and as cool as rs? It was done twenty-five years ago, its called galaga. (probably wasn't as good in profits thoguh)

It's not for fun. They do it for the ess! I'm not one to complaing about pkers (after all thats what the wilderness is there for) but why do they risk 200K+ (I believe thats the starting price for a mediocre pking outfit) for 28 essense?

Cool, I'm considering posting a character on your other thread. The only thing I don't like about your story is the portrayal (spelling?) of dwarves. I guess I'm just too used to the D&D idea of them. (long life-spans averaging between 100 and 300 years, and primary trait being extreme loyalty to the clan at least partially based off of their long memories).

Its not just children who could get offended but older people, sensitive people who would not like to hear those comments... I think that a lot of people would be offended if there was no filter, and they probably aren't just children. I think someone who's offended by an acne-ridden teen who lives on the other side of the world in a poorly pixelated video game really need to check their insecurities. lmao Is that all you can say? lmao I destroy all the pkers so we don't see any more of those "don't go into wildy" flame threads. (nothing against pkers mind you but the arguments that come with them are a waste of space.)

lets end this flame war....pures are people who make accounts because they can tell (from most likely 1-5 years of experience) taht pking is the MOST fun thing this game has to offer, just take a sec to think about it...its a split second decision..you have a whip dds and about 300k in runes and pots on you. u die you lose it all,(a split second decision to eat your last shark or ddp spec,life or death) but your low on food and so is the person you are fighting. you time your specials right and get the kill...how much fun was that? its not that matter that pures ruin the game its just that pures find pking the most..and sometimes even in my case, the only fun thing to do in this game. so instead of whineing about dieing in the wilderness. go train level up make money have fun --and in about a year when you get bored..you will be the ones pking the noobs oh so eating a shark about every ten seconds and hitting a button every 20 is fun? personally I prefer dueling without armor. its the only way that rs ends up being about speed rather than the same strategy that you've been using since rs2 came out. Oh well I'll go back to GW now and you guys can keep proving me right.

Second, make it longer, its hard to give suggestions about stuff that isn't there (lol) Third, spell out numerals "two" versus "2" Thats becomming a chant isn't it? P.S. sorry for the double post but if they add white dragons they should be the weakest type (really white dragons are a joke amoung D&D players)

D&D players should understand this. "Dragons; color coded for your convince" (thats from Order of the stick BTW, if you want the site pm me) Yeah, and Ice dragon would be cool. Or maybe just adding Great Wyrms that randomly spawn with normal dragons that are quite a few times more powerful, can actually fly, have better than mediocre drops (like in the 10K coin drop range, not to mention items and large piles or ash) oh and can cast various spells making an intresting fight for once. I personally think that dragons should be an epic fight with maybe a cutscene at the end determined by the weapons you are wielding and the type of dragon. (that last one is an idea I've had for a couple months now just never have had time to write it down.)

okay people don't bother reading this part but this post is a perfect opportuinity for me to share some of the divine knowledge that comes from playing any online game besided Runescape. [rant] RS has the absolute worst player base of any online game I have ever played. Tip.it forums are the best forums I have found for rs in terms of low amounts of flaming and such, but the fact that someone can not post complaining about getting killed without being flamed is plain pathetic. (even WOW isn't this bad) Sure, the Wilderness IS a place where you can get killed very easily; it IS a place where you cannot trust anyone; it IS NOT a place for taking large amounts of money and/or valuable items, but still the flaming is just pathetic. Just because I defend sacc it does not mean I agree. Cut the language, thats just rude.[/rant] You can begin reading again now. Before anyone calls me a hypocrite (or corrects the spelling of that word) realize that I'm just **** (insert what ever cuss words you can think of here). Oh and also feel free to flame me because I probably won't read the response seeing as I check the forums an average of once even 2-4 weeks.
