Double posted. There's already one at the T+C forum.
  2. Shouldn't your phone manual have instructions on how to use the WAP?

I always thought I was special for having such an "ability". I guess I'm not the only one! Yeah.. I can sense a TV that's on usually. I've heard walked outside of someone's house, heard the TV sound, looked in, and surely enough, they were watching TV. Maybe this is some kind of weird sixth sense?

Reminds me of Nazi Germany and the Jude badges..

152? Missingno? I've been saying this for years. Except it's 151, not 152 for me. Red version ftw! I'd love to see a pokemon MMORPG.
  7. My senior class had no choice but not to do one. My principal didn't really like our class due to our cutlist. He threatened to cancel prom if we did one (and no one wanted that to happen). I did like one prank at our school though. One class locked all the teachers and faculty in the library (they were at their staff meeting) and gave them a clue. The clue was like.. a math problem that they had to solve. The answer would lead them to the next clue, and to the next clue.. until they could find the key. It was a little sweet revenge for all that homework  Senior pranks like slashing tires are really stupid. Your school has to replace those tires, and in turn, takes money out of your events and their budget. This means you'll have less money for your events, etc. :?

Personally, I think this is a good idea. I was angry about the SFUSD's (San Francisco Unified School District) decision to ban junk food and sodas in schools. But I decided that I don't really need that kind of food and started eating a bit healthier (though I still eat junk food :P) I drink less soda, eat less candy.. which is good. I haven't eaten a burger from a fast food joint in almost half a year, though I did get a burger from Carls Jr. at the Silo (where the restaurants are on campus). *martha stewart voice* It's a good thing.
  9. Parents are automatic embarassers. I think it's part of their genetic code. Talk to your mom about her embarassing you. Work something out, and I'm sure she'll try to refrain from doing something that'll embarass you. Chances are that they want the best for you and will try to work out their problem. :) Just go. Don't worry. Even if she embarasses you, you can usually turn it into a joke later on in life.
  10. IMO, iPods are never worth buying. They're overpriced and you can find many cheaper mp3 players out there that hold MORE songs than the shuffle. I mean, the 8gb photo is $199 now. You can only get a 2gb iPod nano with that..
  11. If you'd like to make your own sig, use an image program (photoshop, paint shop pro, etc) and use your image skillz. Make sure it's 300x150 pixels and < 30000 bytes. But as of now, sigs have been disabled until the admins finish up their forum work.
  12. Okay, put yourself in the shoes of my cousins. You moved here at 16 years of age from China. You learn English because it's required, and hey, you want to fit in and want to be able to speak to other people. You are just as good as your peers academically, but you're just learning English as a second language. Will you pass the High School Exit Exam? Probably not, given the short amount of time you've had to learn the language. This means no graduation. I'm sure you will pass it eventually, given an appropriate amount of time to learn the language and its rules. It just needs some tweaking.
  13. My RS used to run at 80K. Now it runs at 100K. Jagex ftl.
  14. Certain forums don't count towards your post count, like graveyard and Rate This.
  15. I was never really comfortable with public speaking -- in the 10th grade, I remember basically stumbling over my words. I'd pause every few words, look down at my index card, and just wanted it to be done with. I'm much better with it now -- I can deliver a speech without much problem (though my tone and expression needs some work!). It's helped me with speaking to people 1on1 also :)
  16. Sorry, but I've got to jump in here. The high school exit exam was removed because a huge portion of the student population here in California are ESL students (English Second Language) and therefore, the English portion would be unfair for them. I studied Mandarin in high school for four years, and I doubt I don't think I would be able to pass an exit exam in Chinese. The math part is fair, since it requires only calculation; there are no language barriers involved. I personally thought it was a waste of state funds. Bump the level of the test to a more appropriate level (mmm, maybe 11th grade?). It was a simple test; if it were not for the huge population of ESL students here, it probably would still be given. It was a good idea. It just needs some tweaking.
  17. Sounds like a great idea. If my whole school earned $30.. we'd be able to donate $75,000.
  18. I think you should do your speech on why you SHOULD do speeches. It's important later on in life. Well, school is where most people do their learning. You probably won't be making any speeches anywhere else while you're young. Okay, imagine you're a scientist. Your speech skills are horrible. How are you going to tell your fellow scientists about your research? How are you going to convince potential sponsors to help fund your project? Communication is probably one of the most important skills you'll ever need-- as bjbj1991 said, Hitler was not the most attractive of people, but he had great communication skills and used them to control the country.
  19. I'm surprised there are no rabbits/hares?
  20. lol.. this is the first time I've heard it. Don't think it's true though-- airlines aren't usually that nice to their customers :P
  21. I would contact Jagex support and see if the subscription went through or not before trying again.
  22. Have you tried removing it in safe mode (press f8 while your computer is booting up)?
  23. I can't wait to get a wii. I'm going to pool money with friends and get one for next year. We'll basically be neighbors, so we might as well get Super Smash Bros. Forget the name. Who cares? :P
  24. Fox and the Hound. Or Mulan :P None of the new movies are any good.
  25. Locked by request.
