At each city/town I checked the newspaper (for, you know, the news). On the front cover of every diferent newspaper I read, every first story, every day of this week, was about the Harry Potter internet leaks. What. The. Hell. o_O. Hell. o_O. {off topic} Did you come to Wesleyan University in CT? :D It's unlikely, but if you did, well, it's a great school :P {/off topic} On Topic: I think it's fairly obvious that the leaks were legit, in that they were actually HP7. However, it's also fairly clear that whoever did it is going to get in a lot of trouble. I wouldn't recommend sharing it if you have it. Also, it'll be more fun to get it at midnight and read it all night :D I have my chips and energy drink ready :D Everybody hug and spread the love :D

July 19, 200718 yr It's pretty crazy how hard they're trying so that a leak doesn't get out..i've heard all sorts of things. Copies were being delivered in escorted armored trucks, people who had to pack the books were forced to pack in the dark so that they couldn't read anything off of it...it's insane -.-

You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

July 19, 200718 yr We are not allowing spoilers (whether in hide tags or not) to be posted anywhere on the site until the book is released. All such posts will be removed, and warnings handed out if necessary. Revealing information about a book before it is released to the public is a copyright infringement. I heard on the news this morning that J.K. Rowling is already looking to sue people who leak information before the book's release. Again, do not post any Harry Potter spoilers, whether in the hide tags or not, until the book is released to the public. Just saw that.... Spoiler Free :)

My guess would be because she's the author of a very popular, long-awaited book, and people breaking the law by releasing its contents before its public release ruins it for many of her fans. July 20, 200718 yr Damn! I was gonna get it at midnight and stay up all night reading it, then my stepmom ordered it online! I have to wait now. :( :( :( :x That stinks.... I'm going to the Scholastic midnight release party in New York, and then I'm going to be staying up all night to read the book... I think Half Blood Prince took me about 5 Hours (with some breaks) to finish.... so I should be able to fiinish Deathly Hallows by 6:00AM on the 21st, if I can get my copy by 1:00 AM.
