Maybe future update or some jagex stuff. There used to be a dragon pick next to it, the first days the new website was released.. The dragon pick looks way fancier than a normal pick.(Like the Dragon Axe) The one we see in the emote does look like steel, golden maybe.. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07. That looks like a plain pick Dragon weapons have the black handles, that has a wooden one. Dragon metal is red, that is an orangy brown. Steel fits the type of pickaxe by colour but only with flame additions that made it seem reddish. I just pointed out the obvious: it looks nothing like a dragon item. I have my opinions. I say them. If you think that makes me patronising or demeaning or cynical, then fine.
