Focus on having some fun and doing good in school. Even if you only get a summer job, that would still be good. However, at 13 I don't know what you would do besides the generic cut lawns job. My sis frequently babysat at about your age, and made a couple hundred off some rich parents that went out a great deal. Kinda depends where you live; suburbs are much better for that kind of stuff.
