jemathonical
I think I have in the past. In some cases the macroers help Runescape players. If I wanted 99 FM I could just go off and buy 50k yews from an autoer for 250ea. And I think most of you would too. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it! n64jive
Never ever... I refuse to sell to them either, in the case of the auto-typers on world 2. They offer horrible deals anyway  But, the same ones stand there and spam away their prices, I once found the same auto there, from a week before. +1 , someone autoer:buying chins 600 ea/rune arrows 350/etc. person #1:buying chins 550 ea! swagger_g:sells to person #1 8-) thats a realy sotry tbh. i pmed dusty i was gonna sell to autoer hes liek noo!....so even if they were givin me better deal...NO WAI. How do you know person 1 isn't an autoer. They could take the program, set it at 15s intervals, put in random message where a certain word is spelt wrong, and go right along. Many people who autotype are actually mostly legit players. The reason I know this is because I have a few friends who use an auto-typer(i don't personally, but oh is it tempting) and everything else they do in the game is legit. They just auto when they get a rare drop, or they need to buy supplies...None of them merchant. They just don't feel like spending hours typing the same thing over again, and who can blame them. Jagex should have added an up button like in IRC, or some command that put's what you just typed. Sure, people would spam using this method, but just only allow so many lines per 5 seconds or something. And if you spam, you will be logged out, unless you're in combat. repeated offenses could end up in a ban.
m4tty
if you are a level 50 with no skills above 30 and like standing around for hours refusing to buy off autoers is ok but if you want to actually train id rather buy off autoers to save time and money
ReapMe
I don't mind buying from them. Makes my life easier to take a few mins to buy from one person rather than take 30 min to an hour to buy all of something in bulk. What?

wild_goat_14
I don't it against my moral i hate macro they ruined the economy and the game. Heck i don't even sell to people with auto typers. They are dumb and need aprogram to type for them how lazy are those noobs Line 1: For the people who must wc for money they ruined it, but for buyer the produced more of the product meaning more supply, less demand, lower prices for me. Lines 2&3:I agree. I did a few times... I bought 50k oak logs off of one once for like 12ea! Greatest deal I ever made...I just need money to make them into planks now for my POH. Or he could buy those, RC nats everyday, 3 hours a day for a 2 weeks and make his 600k back, and make AT THE LEAST 8.4mil. For the sake of my sanity, please stop the "saving money" crap. Time is money, and he save time so he can make more money in what tme he saved. In short, Shut the hell up. StyIez
I hate how the Chinamen Farmers are raising the prices of oak planks on the RS forums. Tons of lvl 3's selling 50k+ but won't sell for less than 420 each. They bump their topics 100+ times with broken english, so annoying. 126 Combat2178 Skill Total16 Level 99 Stats

Moonshadow
If I can really tell someone is a macroer, I might not buy from them. Although if the deal is good enough, it is a bit too hard to refuse .
4nr
When I need raw materials and otherwise, I don't care who I'm buying from. I bought every raw sharks for 99 cooking for a level 3 in w2. So? I got them and got everything done. On the topic of auto-typers, Jagex really doesn't have a problem with them. They have stated in their mod-only report terms (what mods should, and should not report for), that anyone spamming non-jibberish is not to be reported. So for example - Player 1: Selling Sharks 1kea ~Player 1~ Player 1: Selling Sharks 1kea ~Player 1~ Player 1: Selling Sharks 1kea ~Player 1~ ...etc... That is not reportable, according to Jagex. On the other hand, if the player is spamming jibberish, such as - Player 2: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Player 2: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Player 2: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ ...etc... That is reportable, and in most cases, mutable under the right circumstances. So I have nothing against auto typers. And if you have a problem with people auto typing to speed things up, each to their own. Also, I will buy my materials from who I want. I don't care if they are an autoer. Just my $.02 :)

TheEvilGizm0
Sometimes I notice that they migt be an autoer / gold farmer when I meet them to do the deal. I just buy and report them afterwards 8-) They finally got it right.
doomy
It's suspicious buying from nonhigh ranked people with like 600k lobs, but i dont care, stuff, and usually kinda cheap stuff, ftw! Doomy edit: I like sheep
SirHartlar
I am not going to spend hours trying to find out whether they are autoers or not, if they are they will get banned for it. I report plenty of them as it is but when they transfer stuff to their mains it is much more difficult to sipher through legitimate players and ones who are trying to sell you their ill-gained wares. Tsar
Lets say you get into a situation like this: You're standing in front of world 2, falador east bank. You have a goal of obtaining a high crafting level. You have a 15M budget to spend on green dragonhides, with which you can buy 10k of them for the price of 1500gp each. You've been standing here for well over 30 minutes, with no luck. You see a dozen players around you eagerly trying to sell you small amounts of dragonhides for 1600gp each, which you refuse. Then, out of the blue, you see a level 3, with a random jibberish name. He's advertising: "selling green hides 1500ea". Now, halt for a second. =; What do you do? Choice 1: You try to trade the level 3 in hopes of others not seeing the message and see how many hides he has. Yay, he puts up 10k green hides. You thank your good reflexes and offer 15m to him, which he accepts. Trade done and you can move on with your crafting goal. Choice 2: You stay put, knowing your exceptionally good karma will force you to not trade him/her. You then see the "Other player is busy at the moment" message and spend the next 2 hours on the market, still trying to buy those damn hides. As for me, I've picked Choice 1 almost always. Better be time-and-cost-efficient than spend a ton more and get less bang for your buck. "Morally", it's wrong to buy from cheaters though, but I honestly think no one would turn down a great deal that saves him/her money and time. From 85-94 crafting, bought green and blue hides from autoers. Saved a total of 8 million from the reduced price that autoers sold. I know I'm happy with what I did, even if it was "morally wrong". :ohnoes:
tintin113
I don't think that I have ever bought anything of a maroer, but if they are selling alot of something for cheap prices, then I would find it hard to resist. I normally don't even look at who I am selling it to though lol, as long as they pay the money, or supply the goods, I don't normally check where it comes from. Norton3000
I once bought 1k oak planks from a macroer. Its hard to find someone who isn't autoer if you want to buy planks. Retired from RuneScape for as long as possible.
The Observer
It's hard to tell if your buying from a macro or not. cause usually they give all the stuff to their main which sells it. +1 You never know.

Scars
If you don't buy, someone else will. Boycotting isn't really going to help, because you might end wasting a lot of time trying to buy from a 'legit' player & there's also no way of telling that they've also obtained the materials from an autoer/macroer or not.
