Ah, the conflict of goalsÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ

 

 

 

On one hand, I want all the new cool stuff. I want the Sara Godsword that heals hitpoints and prayer. I want the Bandos outfit with uber protection and strength bonus. I want the new Void bonuses for range and mage. I want the new dragon helmet to complete the dragon set which is now incomplete. I want the new dragonfire shield because its awesomeness speaks for itself. ThatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a lot of wants. And thatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a lot of money. And I want it all now.

 

 

 

On the other hand, I want to get some levels. I want more 99 capes. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve found a fun fast way to smith. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve found a reasonable way to craft. I enjoy letting the kingdom raise my farming everyday. I have babystep goals, first of all, bringing all skills to at least 80. Firemaking is at 77. And although burning logs is not a skill, I still want the number, and the pretty cape.. eventually. Smithing is now 75. Agility only 71. And Summoning will soon be a very ugly 1. This will all take time.

 

 

 

So, the conflict is my obsession for wealth has stopped me from getting my levels.

 

And this is the story of the turning point.

 

 

 

I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t updated in a long time, so I have a lot to tell you.

 

 

 

First of all, some of my old time boss hunter friends have been highly motivated at the Godwars Dungeon. Thankfully, they have dragged me down there more than I was willing to.

 

 

 

When I started this brand new game, after three months off, I had like 14 million in the bank, and nothing of the new stuff.

 

 

 

YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve heard of my first trip to the Bandos boss. 2nd drop was a Bandos Tasset. And no, there is no such thing as a Bandos Tassle, as previously and noobishly stated. This gave me another 4 million.

 

 

 

Then the team got sick of all the noobs crashing Bandos parties, and started to learn how to defeat the Sara boss. Which is MUCH more challenging, and much more rewarding. After learning a fantastic tag-team system, they took me down there to help. And in the meantime, I learned their system.

 

 

 

Unlike Bandos, you cannot take the Sara boss head on. With Bandos, you have one ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅtankÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

This entry is to my Godwars Team. A member of the team disclosed to me that he used to do something I didn't approve of. This offended me, and I overreacted by deleting him and telling other team members that I will be withdrawing from future team trips.

 

 

 

This caused a wave of reaction from other team members who correctly decided not to take sides, and withdrew themselves, also.

 

 

 

Now I would like to tell my team members, and you know who you are, that with the new update, all evil from Runescape has been removed. And all previous evils you practiced will be forgotten. I would just prefer not to hear about them.

 

 

 

So, when the lootshare fix comes online, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d like the entire team to kiss and make up, and get back to the fun of ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅGroup ZilÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

you quit before my time, but I'd seen stuff in the AOW. "chosen by leesters," all your guides and stuff. I saw your blog when it was newer and I was like WOW a tip.it legend. I always enjoy reading your posts on your blog (they're like stories!) but first time ( maybe second) posting on your blog. Good luck on that Sara Hilt! :thumbsup:

Its quite a fun, easy room... except when every world is buzzing with rude, kill stealing, low level teams that talk trash and crash your party.

Just goes to show you, you can take the evil out of runescape, but you can't take the evil out of the noobs. They'll always find a way to be jerks.

 

 

 

 

Very well said. I officially gave up on Bandos a couple weeks ago. I will not be returning unless my skills are higher, and I'm wearing the best set up possible. Too much of a buzzkill, getting things not only stolen, but demeaned in the process.

 

 

 

Congratulations on the solo Sara hilt - huge accomplishment, glad you are getting some of the things you want since returning - And may they fix our lootshare/team monster hunting $ share problem WITH HASTE!

Umm Lee....you should've tested your godsword on the sergeants at bandos for your goblin task (yes it seems odd that the only master who assigns those lvl 140+ brutes is Turael, but it's true :wink: )

 

 

 

Also....Soma might be in a little better mood the next time hilt drops are brought up with him :D

On another note, could you advise which boss is a good starting point for GWD. A friend and I tryed zammy on our first ever attempt and had to tele with 2 bosses down and 1/2 health to go.

You are one lucky bastard, Leesters!!!. Congratz on the hilt, im very intrested, which setup and equipment did you use? It seems to be in my money reach as you didnt have DFS or GS back when you got it, and i got 20M cash and a dfs... So, mind telling :)? My only hope of getting a godsword of the sara type, to be honest. Also, a friend of mine told me that in torags armor, blk mask, etc, he did 110 abyssal demons without eating and still had full hp, with 87-86-99 stats! Most awesome slayer wep i think!.

 

 

 

Oh, and one thing <_<. You said you would try and find a space for me so we could godwar, but now that lootshare is the only way, will you still try and find a space? I have heavy experience at all the bosses, though bad luck there, thats why i dont have any drops to show from graardor/zilyana...

If that's your real only chance, then honestly you might not have much of one.

 

 

 

The best publicly available method for you to use would probably be to hide against the south wall (so that Bree does not attack you), then use full veracs. If you want you can also run back and forth to reduce Zilyana's advantage in speed, but that'll require plenty of purple sweets.

 

 

 

I bet Lee probably DID have a picture, but I told him us three (Me, Madmanpur3, and Lee) would probably put up a combined gallery sometime. : Maybe he just wants to save the picture until then.
