shadowbot
Ok I will say this. I currently have enough planks in my bank for 99 construction. About 170k oak planks, which cost me a pretty penny. The major thing that bothers me about construction is that oak makes better leveling than mahogany. Whats the point of gaining levels if you dont get better ways to level up? Mahogany should be better xp per gp than oak, thats just how rpg's and leveling systems should be designed. People should not be using basic materials to level to 99. However jagex has seemed not to notice this flaw in quite a few of their skills.
ktmcf121
i don't know how i ever got by without it, i use my house every day for something, whether it's making teletabs, using portals and altars, using the extra bank space in my costume room or just having friends come over and play games, it's one of the best skills yet. sweety6556
meh, why spend so much on a house of my own, when i have rich friends who let me usetheir house for free? \ i like construction, i just think it's rather annoying.
jjrox32
Probably my favourite skill. It's just too expensive though #-o
dberg20
I love construction as well, and am in the process of making a flash house. I only have 14M to spend for now on a flash house, but that should give me a decent flash house. But I do love it and you can get money from construction believe it or not, making ttabs is fast cash, as well as some other things. Jordanweb
Construction was the wrong update to make a money drain. It was the most wanted update for years and over a year since its release only 16000 people have trained to over level 70 in it - Jagex must have gone wrong somewhere and that was that they made it a skill that was mainly for the rich and not for people that liked skilling. I fully support houses costing alot though, just not training the skill. If you can afford it then you can get 99 con alot faster than cooking or fletching and yet construction is still considered a god of 99s. I enjoy it and would like to level to 99, i just hate how rich merchanters can get it so easy and it is so hard to train for skillers. Infact, if rich enough you could get 99 con in a few hours. Lol. Snake_Guy
It's without a doubt my favorite skill. It levels fast, it's rewards are awesome, and it's just plain fun. Unfortunately I've only been able to get to level 47 since it's been introduced, but I plan to change that soon. The only drawback is the EXTREME cost, but even that's alright - it encourages me to go work on other skills once in a while!
silver24-7
I LOVE CONSTRUCTION !!! It's simply the greatest skill they ever added :) it stops inflation greatly for a starter !!! But apart from that it also makes lots of other things in rs easier for the better constructors ;) But most importantly !!!!! HOUSE PARTIES !!!! Those are the greatest =D Especially if you have a big house with a nice dungeon and everyone congratulates you with the hard work you put into it :D it's just great lol, you may not think it could feel like that but my house is the possession I'm most proud of in rs, way more fun to show off then any partyhat ;) I recommend everyone to train it to at least lvl 75 and make a nice dungeon to have your guests play in !!! I'm Finally 99 mage ^^ (and cooking...) :PSilver24-7 -

Construction looses its usefullness after level 69, which you can tea + crystal saw a guilded alter. The only reason people go over is either for high enough con to get the trophies, throwns, ect they want, or to max out. Anyway, after level 70, you get a dungeon, more junk thats just for fun. 70 is the wrong level to start at. ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^
ubahman
I love it :D. I spent about 800K give or take fully renovating my house and getting it to level 50. Made a kharyll portal for barrows and pretty soon (1-2 days) Got a warspear :D. What an excellent way to fix the economy :D. Love my house too. Great for friends. All of them are jealous of my fully renovated 50 (55 with tea and saw!) construction house 8-). 99/99 Cooking. 1500+ total level. 96+ Combat
HatshepsutLecter
I mostly love the skill. I think that it is doing a good job at what it was designed to do (be a money sink) and I love having a place of my own in the game. I love fancying up my house and making sure that all of the stuff in there is the best that I can currently put in. Only think that I dont' like is that you can't use the full 30 room limit til you have 99 construction. Not sure when, if ever, I am going to get that level up that high. fakeitormakeit
I love it, infact starting monday I'm going to start runecrafting money for 99con(84mil+55mil for decoration). Its so cool having your own chunk of runescape to call your own. Finalised plan for house: Note: Remember to look for my thread and posts with sig after Christmas, I'll be having my 99con party around then and I want lots of tipit people to come. And a week after my 99con party, I'll be hosting an olympic-style series of my own games at mostly my house and the grand prize will be 10mil! Look around for that after Christmas, too. mrrogers
construction is good under some circumstances: 1. you must already be able to make cash 2. you need spare time to fully enjoy your house 3. you need a lot of friends to enjoy your crib with
Blue_Fire_Blaze
I like construction and i like it when people come into my house and go around in awe. Even thought my construction is 51. I like but i don't have te money to spend on it. And the cavemen wondered how to make fire...Im in the .00001% that finds Firemaking fun. If you find it fun add this to your siggy. bloodkilla87
I think its an alright skill. I really wish you could move moves around though because when the skill first came out i just started throwing up rooms and now my house setup is garbage I dont think i will get mine above 50. 50 gives me my altars, and my teleport for barrows. krisc6
constructions my favouriteskill out of all.mainly because its so unique and customizable and most times you never enter the same house. i have half the money for 85 construction banked but i doubt ill spend it all on construction, other skills deserve some attention O:)
ltb2006
I love it..but if there's one thing i could change it would be the door layout. it can be a pain having to rebuild a room because it doesn't fit with the rest.
monkfish101
I used to hate it with a vengeance but recently have started really liking it (got from lvl 38 to lvl 57 in 2 days :P) Thing Is I'm one of those who never seem to have much money :( I'm building it mainly for barrows tbh. All I have to do now is do desert treasure (for kharyll tele) and get to lvl 62 (so with boosts i can make a mahogany eagle lecturn for tele tabs (although I could always use peoples' open houses until then)) and i'll be all set for barrows (After recently perfecting my no p pot method) so i can just run there all day wasting hardly any money at all :D:D:D 40 Barrows trips, 4 Barrows equipment (Guthans Helm, Veracs Helm, Ahrims Skirt, Dharoks Helm)
meb
I like it, too bad it's so expensive. With 300 gp for an oak plank I think I wouldn't keep postponing getting my Construction from 70 to 83 (tea to Spiders). But for now, I'm happy with my 70 Construction. Gilded altar, a portal room, an eagle lectern and a glory with infinite charges alone is what makes Construction fun. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
