Most respected skill cape? (With a catch)

Hey.. I was just thinking about the skill capes, and I was wondering.. What do you think the most respected skill cape would be if make/cook/fletch x was taken out.

In my opinion it would have to be either slayer or cooking.. Cooking used to take ages back when there was no cook x, so you would have to pay attention. And slayer.. well.. Everyone knows how hard it is to train ^^

Prayer, well it's the one I respect the most personally. It's my favorite skill and it seems like it takes forever to train.

:Jim: hey i got this new iPhone it plays music

:Priest: better thank jesus for creating a way to talk to other people

:Jim: you mean scientists?

:Priest: Blasphomey!

Slayer and farming still for me. they both take ages to level, they also happen to be my 2 favourite skills :P cooking before cook X wasnt really much different to fm now, except slightly easier because you dont need to negotiate obstacles etc. Cook X just saved RSI more than it sped the skill up.

Slayer, farming, agility, thieving, and smithing. These skills need a lot of time and attention. They basically can't be bought even though you can buy seeds for farming and bars for smithing since these skills really take a lot of time to level.

Actually thieving with pyramid plunder makes it one of the 5 easiest skills (Along with cook, fletch, firemaking and hunting)

2= farming

3= construction

construction i dont respect its 200kxp per hour.. i did cooking without cook x and its basically the same speed lol

I think Slayer and Runecraft.. farming is just plant and leave.. nothing hard there.

Of all the skills I would say that the Rune Crafting cape commands the greatest respect from me. Even if you buy the Essence and have runners, there is still a lot of work involved in gaining the necessary experience points.

After this I would rank Woodcutting, Fishing, Mining, Agility and Hunter. For all of these you have to do pretty much all the work yourself, although you can get more experience ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâper click̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ than you can with Rune Crafting.

Next would come the combat skills and Slayer, again skills where you have to do the work yourself, but there is a lot you can buy to make it easier to gain the experience quickly.

Bottom on my list would be the skills you could pretty much buy your cape in. Don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get me wrong, to achieve a 99 is still a lot of Kudos, but if all you have done is buy raw materials and spend hours / days / weeks in the same spot repeating a task again and again in order to get a cape ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ the accomplishment is pretty low. All it goes to prove is that you had the cash and the patience.

I'd have to say either Runecrafting or Smithing.

Pretty much what Dragon said.

Thread terminated.

I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator?

You ask us what the most respected one is. Then you say "without Make/Cook/Fletch X". Isn't that a bit one sided? You're putting into our thoughts that those skills are easy with them, but insanely hard without them. Seems like a discussion about what would life be like without those options, really.

But yea.. I still say Slayer.
