August 14, 200718 yr Hey.. I was just thinking about the skill capes, and I was wondering.. What do you think the most respected skill cape would be if make/cook/fletch x was taken out. In my opinion it would have to be either slayer or cooking.. Cooking used to take ages back when there was no cook x, so you would have to pay attention. And slayer.. well.. Everyone knows how hard it is to train ^^ /discuss edit: typos :wall: Deviant Art Account2 Signatures | 6 Photographs | 1 Other
August 14, 200718 yr id say slayer or mining, slayer might take longer but its much more fun to train then mining, i have total respect for any 85+ miner
August 14, 200718 yr Runecrafting, Slayer or Mining, even if the make/x was left out, the skills who used to have it would still remain easy. Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.
August 14, 200718 yr cooking hasn't been a tough skill ever since cert system was introduced, not that it would have been that tough before that either
August 14, 200718 yr I'd say RuneCrafting, Prayer (I know its buyable but its so long and boring) or herblore.
August 14, 200718 yr mining, runecrafting, smithing, herblore. I get 30$ a day working at a haunted corn ma(i)ze, dressing up and scaring people crapless.
August 14, 200718 yr Prayer, well it's the one I respect the most personally. It's my favorite skill and it seems like it takes forever to train. :Jim: hey i got this new iPhone it plays music:Priest: better thank jesus for creating a way to talk to other people:Jim: you mean scientists?:Priest: Blasphomey!
August 14, 200718 yr Slayer and farming still for me. they both take ages to level, they also happen to be my 2 favourite skills :P cooking before cook X wasnt really much different to fm now, except slightly easier because you dont need to negotiate obstacles etc. Cook X just saved RSI more than it sped the skill up.
August 14, 200718 yr Slayer, farming, agility, thieving, and smithing. These skills need a lot of time and attention. They basically can't be bought even though you can buy seeds for farming and bars for smithing since these skills really take a lot of time to level.
August 14, 200718 yr As always, untrimmed slayer.Has anyone actually achieved this yet? Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion

They basically can't be bought even though you can buy seeds for farming and bars for smithing since these skills really take a lot of time to level. Actually thieving with pyramid plunder makes it one of the 5 easiest skills (Along with cook, fletch, firemaking and hunting) ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã
August 14, 200718 yr I don't respect any skill capes, people only wear them to show off. I respect the 99 they stand for though. Oh, and to answer your question, Runecrafting.
August 14, 200718 yr Slayer, Hitpoints, and Runecrafting. Those be some awesome capes. : Cowards can't block Warriors.
August 14, 200718 yr 1=slayer 2= farming 3= construction construction i dont respect its 200kxp per hour.. i did cooking without cook x and its basically the same speed lol I think Slayer and Runecraft.. farming is just plant and leave.. nothing hard there.
August 14, 200718 yr I'm going with untrimmed slayer, since to do it you have to use tons of recoils and the cannon... :| Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
August 14, 200718 yr Agility all the way ^^ All those Ape Atoll runs, and being able to run through Runescape without drinking energy pot or eating sweets/strange fruits :P Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)Dagannoth kings drops: 73Barrows item count: 51GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)Whips: 4Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)
August 14, 200718 yr Of all the skills I would say that the Rune Crafting cape commands the greatest respect from me. Even if you buy the Essence and have runners, there is still a lot of work involved in gaining the necessary experience points. After this I would rank Woodcutting, Fishing, Mining, Agility and Hunter. For all of these you have to do pretty much all the work yourself, although you can get more experience ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâper click̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ than you can with Rune Crafting. Next would come the combat skills and Slayer, again skills where you have to do the work yourself, but there is a lot you can buy to make it easier to gain the experience quickly. Bottom on my list would be the skills you could pretty much buy your cape in. Don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get me wrong, to achieve a 99 is still a lot of Kudos, but if all you have done is buy raw materials and spend hours / days / weeks in the same spot repeating a task again and again in order to get a cape ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ the accomplishment is pretty low. All it goes to prove is that you had the cash and the patience. Thanks to 4be2jue for the sigs. There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary and those that don't!
August 14, 200718 yr i respect all of them, because they all take a lot of time and effort to get O:) but i respect thes more: construction because it takes insane amounts of money to get. rcing, takes a long time. and prayer, again it costs alot of money.
August 14, 200718 yr I'd have to say either Runecrafting or Smithing. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
August 14, 200718 yr You ask us what the most respected one is. Then you say "without Make/Cook/Fletch X". Isn't that a bit one sided? You're putting into our thoughts that those skills are easy with them, but insanely hard without them. Seems like a discussion about what would life be like without those options, really. But yea.. I still say Slayer. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!
August 14, 200718 yr Guy i respect most on rs is Gonga_Jew.. amazing stats and 22 99s at same time? wow cant wait!
