The godsword will probably be no access for me cuz i prolly won't have the requirements or the guts. especially since i forgot my password (death chimes heard in the distance). but it shall be most pownage, thee wouldst be most instantly massacre-ated shalt the blade but strike thee once. and you can imagine the special ! a mix between the dmace and dds, you hit your max twice in quick succession, and only drain 1% of the bar :pray: :twisted: :XD:

In the ad it must be in the icy part of the wilderness and you must bring a rope right? and besides it could just be like the construction skill we were waiting for like a year it might not even come out. whoever remembers construction i remembered it before it even came out a long time ago.

I'm hoping for untradeable, requires 70 in all combat skills, includin prayer, with a huge str bonus, like 120, or sumthing, but slower than a 2h, and unable to train defence or something. I'd also like teh boss monster to be in a non-multi-combat zone, adn maybe level 650, mak eit really hard.

jagex has said that before when the updates were less than exelence

I dont think it will be better than a whip, but what it may have is a huge prayer bonus, to go right up there with Prosolyte (sp?) armor, and untradable, of course. I also liked the god prayers mentioned earlyer, but can you imagine jagex coming out with anouther prayer update that fast?

 

 

 

Going along with that prayer idea, you could posably have 2 diferent swords, one for each of the gods fighting in the dungeon (the bird one and the ogre one). That would be cool, as we need other god items, not just guthix, sara, and zammy stuff (I am not counting quest items). :-k

i didn't read past pg 1 lol i'm lazy why do you think it's goin to be thebest weapon in the game.. and yes it does say powerful godsword on the BTS for those who didnt know lol.. For all we know it could be garbage, but someone correct me if i'm wrong it does mention something about the 3rd age and that sword together.. It could possibly be a level 65 sword better than dragon but not quite as good as a whip.

If there comes a godsword, I expect it to be a bit more powerful as Dharock's axe, just as slow and twohanded, and a better special. So just the barrelchest anchor, except more powerful. Which result in some weapon that very rarely will be used.

Judging by what I've heard, it should be a worthwhile inclusion to the game.

I don't know why everyone keeps saying this. As mentioned earlier, Jagex most likely knows the ill effects a weapon superior to the Abby Whip (stronger with relatively the same speed) would have on the economy AND on PvP. So I agree that it will be a stronger version of the Barrelchest Anchor.

These are just my thoughts on the godsword:

 

 

 

Probably fairly difficult to obtain(meaning I won't likely own one)

 

Comparable stats to the whip, slightly slower.

 

It will probably send whip prices lower, meaning I don't think I'll buy one until the aftereffects of the godsword settle themselves out.(Yes, that means I do not currently own a whip, even though I have the stats for one. I was poor until a week ago and could never afford one :oops: )

 

Those are just my thoughts.

because it seems to me it will be a big dungeon with hundreds of monsters to kill

I suppose for the high lvls this will be nice but knowing jagex it will just be a silver light. I doubt it will be superstrong. It will probally be strong and hit hard and be slow plus have some stupid activation requirement like "Sacrifice 50 prayer to the gods to activate your sword!!!" So I mean, it might be good but I doubt it will replace the whip.

It'll be like a melee version of the d-bow, able to hit triple digits without side effects but be slower than a 2h.

A melee version of the triple bow would be super unfair. It would have to be superweak because you would literaly be able to one hit people if it was a strong as the whip (Str wise). So no, I think that would be totally unfair.

In my opinion i won't compare the godsword to the whip so soon...

tbh i doubt their will even be a god sword. it says the avan wutever mite still be guarding it and the point of the god wars isnt to get it from the avan wutever theres a bunch of different races fighting wut makes u think that the whole point of god wars dungeon will be based solely on that? and if it does infact come out not only will i be shocked but i highly doubt it will top the abby whip because it takes a hell of a long time to get 85 slayer to get them as a drop and it would tick me off if they did that,person could walk into dungoen kill something and get a godsowrd and be like wow, to get in abby whip it takes 1-3 months of slaying so again dont get ur hopes up :\ lol

It troubles me that they made an ad. Jagex doesn't need to advertise....why would they?
