2: They hit very fast, though 10 at most,

 

3: They have a long ranged attack though if it's magic or ranged is unknown,

Other than the last one, can somebody confirm these? More details would be nice.

Prayer works fine, but they use both range and melee. Their range is much more powerful.

 

 

 

They hit higher than 10, but only on melee. Range is 10 max, and very fast (so you should pro range) It also seems to be magic based damage, but range based prayer... At least, even in decent range defense, they ripped me apart with range.

 

 

 

It's not to hard, with prayer armour, pro-range and a super set.

 

 

 

You also need the crystal chime, to damage the monsters.

So basically, it's just like the fight against Dessous the vampire/Blood diamond guardian but with three thingamajics instead of a single boss?

In case you want your crystal saw again (like me), use the seed twice on the singing bowl in Brimstail's cave..

No, I didn't think is was. That said I was lagging appallingly and had to do it three times because the lag wouldn't let me eat...

 

 

 

By the way, the Tortoises are great! I'm there for a slayer assignment. They have fairly low defence, barely hit you, and in 7 kills I've have 3 loads of coins (+100 each drop), a rune pick, rune warhammer and addy ore. They also drop a gnome dish (the toad leg one mentioned in the quest) in groups of threes.

Fun quest, although I found it really easy

All three monsters are warped terrorbirds. They have a very fast ranged attack and a melee attack (the ranged attack hurts worse). You also need to use the chimes on them in order to be able to hurt them. It wasn't a very hard fight at all and if things are going badly just slap protect from range on and you will be fine.

That boss fight was. . . Weird. I was freaked out when I first went in there, left to stock up on food, went back, and used less than half of my lobs -.- Get them all in a line, then you only fight one at a time and don't even need prayer.

Low def? They took quite a long time to kill :? . And yes I did use those crystal things.

i killes all 3 in 1-2 minutes. using pray range and a good deff /att bonus.

 

didnt even waste 1 food.

So what do the monsters in the new slayer dungeon drop?

There was a poll not long ago asking about other barrows brothers :-k

The idea of having two more Barrows Brother might lead to the idea these last ones weren't affect by the corruption of Morytania... Very interesting. :-k

Anyone know the combination to get violet pentagon out of the Exchanger? I have tryed hundreds and hundreds of combos, for 4 hours and I cant get violet pentagons! I have even dropped all disks and looted for new ones at golries chest, but I never gotten any of that shape. I also noticed i never get red squares. Are they rare or none excistant? What am I doing wrong? :?

it took me 10 mins but i guess keep trying and keep looking at the previous quest guide and try to add up the numbers that will give you your shape.

 

 

 

it takes time but keep exchanging, and add the shapes to see if you can get the answer :-)

Anyone with Defence/Prayer want to do the last part with me? I keep getting raped and then I don't have enough to kill the three.

The mahjarrat deceiver could be the guy who gave the Barrows brothers their special armour, which ended up killing them slowly. That would make the 8 figures the 6 Barrows brothers, you, and an 8th guy. (Possibly the one who returns as the Slayer)

 

 

 

I'd love a quest with a Barrows related story, perhaps fighting side by side with the brothers!
