Anyone know what this is about? Their like announcing the drops in the Party Room in Falador....when did this update take place? :XD:

 

 

 

EDIT: Since the 30-November-07 update we realize this was updated a bit ago just not announced.

It happens whenever someone pulls the lever in the Party Room, they yell out what's being dropped. I'm pretty sure it has been that way since the Party Room moved to Falador :wink:

I think Jagex updated it with the Grand Exchange, since the Party Hall now shows the value of things.

That'd be hilarious if for like one day jagex played a joke on everyone and the bankers screemed like partyhat drop or something all day long.

Its been around since the update, and its still better then merchant bankers. :ohnoes:

That's old news, I have seen it for the first time a long time ago.

 

 

 

Though, the world 111 was very fun to be there, with a d bow that was gonna be dropped.

well theres usually a load of junk in the chest at party petes, then all the NPCs in falador starts announcing the current value being dropped inside the chest. old news, and the drop party isnt all that worth it. chance of popping one balloon is very slim, the room is mostly covered in players and it gets very laggy.

The only time I saw bankers talk was when I watched the cut-scene where the Wise Old man robs the Draynor bank. Other than that, they have been keeping rather silent.

I was in P2P, world 2 yesterday and they shouted 1m in party room. I was in Varrock and they said it. Every noob ran for it. Right as the balloons dropped, everyone got logged out. I logged back in as the only one and popped 3 balloons and then everyone was logging back in and screaming. Lol.

 

 

 

The funny thing was that some player shouted out that everyone was going to get logged out right when they dropped the balloons. :-k

 

 

 

I've known about this for about 3-4 weeks.

Yeah I saw it once as well in World 2.

 

 

 

I thought someone was screaming under a guard >_>, then I killed the guard and no one was under him.

That's really strange, and actually a little funny :P. I have never seen that before, and I have spent a lot of time in the Fally east bank. But not after the party room update, now when I think back. I will go and check it out soon :)

My bro went to a 14m one, and the party room had about 400 people in it.

 

I don't think they shout just in Falador. It sounded like a few people came from ardougne

 

 

 

I think it annoys a few people that the party was ruined by beggers and rich noobs.

yesterday the ge bankers shouted 14mil drop party.

 

Maby if the value is above 1mil all the bankers shout it?

I've never seen it before, but I think it is a good way to 'lure' people to the party room.

No it was origionaly added when they moved the party room to fally.

 

 

 

During the GE update they changed them to now announce prices of the drops, since all items are linked to a player price now.

the guards etc also shout it.. :idea:
