I always love holiday events, and the Bounty Hunting thing looks to be pretty interesting.

 

 

 

I'm not too sure what all the excitment about the gravestones is though.

dont know if someone already said but,

 

 

 

since jagex is in their quest against rwt,

 

 

 

what about Gravestones prevent money piles to apear to all others players, but just the money piles and not all items, that way i think they wouldnt mess up the wild and would be a good efort to prevent rwt through the wild.

Spectral Dark Beasts sound like the 95 Slayer Monsters. It's reasonable to assume that if "Dark Beast" is in the name, it's going to be greater than 90. I'm pretty psyched about this update... I think my wallet is going to be phat lol.

What I reckon Jagex will do is that when you stand on the grave of a defeated opponent you cannot be attacked, thus stopping pj'ers...

Monsters or souls that can pop-up to attack you at any given time, multi, or non-multi?

 

 

 

Sounds devilish and seems like Jagex is adding in something to increase the danger or insecurity of the wilderness. Hopefully these are well programed randomly generated events, that hit 6-20 on a player, with no given warnings and such, and would disappear if you kill them or run away from them. As well they better give good drops as it's kind of pointless to add something dangerous but not increase the amount of gp or treasure to be found.

 

 

i like this idea.Actually,this might be the case.

 

There will be no specefic spectral darks beasts area (or any other spectral monsters).

 

I believe the requirments for those will be like "regular" dark beasts and chances are those will be the new dragon pick droppers :D

i want to see the gravestones, mainly because I want all these people whining and spouting their foolish theories be proven wrong.

Sounds okay, but not really my thing. I'm not much of a pvp-person, nor do I like the wild, for that very same reason. All of these updates are aimed at another kind of player than me. Not complaining though, I have plenty to get on with... The graves are a funny idea, I'm curious to see how that'll work out.

 

 

 

I hope that the new monster is not a slayer monster, though. I love slayer exactly because it doesn't get you into that kind of pvp situations. A tough slayer monster in the wild is a big big no-no. Also, I'll be irritated if it's 95 slayer, as someone suggested. I achieved 87 slayer or so when dark beasts got the dark bow drop (argh) and I'd have 93-94 slayer when they'd release the 95+ monster :D. But I highly doubt it, there's what, 1k 95+ slayers? They didn't want to release the dark bow before a minimum of players had achieved 90 slayer so... unlikely that enough players have achieved 95 by now.

 

 

 

Anyway, we'll see.

Yeah, I think the Gravestone thing is no more death piles. The more you die with, the better the Gravestone looks.

 

 

 

However, that means that Bounty Hunter will be MUCH, MUCH, cooler. You have to BUY into that game. Meaning your Loot will be online and at risk to some other random Pker while you hunt another Pker's loot. Sounds like it can easily work. Not to mention, there's a high score so the best man will be at the top of the list.

 

 

 

Or you can go Rogue, which means you don't get loot for the kills (but you still have to buy into the system probably, Risk vs Fun I guess you can call it).

 

 

 

Oh boy, no more moaning about 3 itemers. Bounty Hunters have to risk something to get something.

 

 

 

Yes, these changes are just the final plug in the "accidental" RWT schemes:

 

 

 

Environment Deaths: Monsters, Randoms, Whatever - currently a 1 minute wait before your items appear to all. Now it may be a return to item's to players bank" on the gravestone that appears.

 

 

 

Staking: Now it's 3k limit. Useless for RWT.

 

 

 

Pking deaths: Gravestones, which means no reward for killing in the Wilderness either unless you do Bounty Hunter or Clan Wars. Wonder if there'll be a "return item to player's bank" option on the gravestone?

Maybe not return to the bank but a time limit for the dead player to get back the items from the grave...the more expensive the gravestone the more time the player has to go get the items...

Where do you guys keep getting that since you will leave a gravestone when you die that you no longer drop loot? They mentioned nothing about not dropping loot anymore, yet you guys are jumping all over it... I highly doubt they would make the wild(that was the whole point behind the wild when they introduced it) to where you dont drop any loot..

 

 

 

You guys need some better common sense =/

l2r, you purchase them, so obviously the more you die with the better the gravestone makes completely no sense. And what do you mean you have to buy into the bounty hunter game? They mentioned nothing about that, you join the mini game and get selected a random player in there to kill to try and get their loot, i think thats it and thats pretty simple. And where do you get killing in the wilderness= no reward now..?
