I'm working on leveling up Fishing. Then probably back to Slayer. Next week should be the Christmas event, and Summoning is coming out next year. Also, I plan to work on Hunting.

Getting upset because I sold 150ish Dragon bones and Hides for 1600 each a few days ago

It's hard to have fun anymore for me. I went Dagannoth Kings and God Wars Dungeon all time before, now that I know they will be ruined it's hard to take interest.

 

 

 

Nowadays I simply further my combat, skills and quests mean little to me.

lol the new update made me realise that rs is about having fun. I used to skill and merchant all the time you know not really doing what I wanted to do. But now I sold pretty much all of my items for the cheapest prices, bought a few k of sharks, some super pots and got seriously hoocked on duel tournamenting :). When the money is gone (and 18 more days of membership) I'm very likely not gonna come back :

While most of us are losing interest in this game because our favorite hobbies have been ruined, some of you are claiming this is the best update ever. While it is nice to see the game becoming less "corrupt," the game's gotten really boring for me now.

 

 

 

To the people who are "unaffected" by this update: what do you do for fun?

 

I fish while I chat with my friends over AIM, and laugh very loudly when my friend sends me images of squirrels with classmates heads photocropped on. I also like to browse the Tip.It. forums and laugh when some people claim to have inside news on Jagex's motives and coming updates.

Pking = Player killing, any minigame where you can attack/kill players counts as pking.

I skill, do mini-games, hang out with friends, do quests, clan stuff, etc. All the stuff I usually did :

Wacking the rioters with a rubber chicken. Mainly, because...why are they rioting..in a game?

I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do ingame anymore. I used to love pking in the wildy with Kot, which I can't do because you can't pk in the wildy, and he quit because of it, and I used to skill, hang out and talk with Die, but cause of the trading thing, he quit. Now I kinda just float through the game :cry:

If I get into a skill I will enjoy it and have 'fun'. I also like to check out updates and new quests for a lil excitment.

Minigames: Castle Wars, maybe Fight Pits, Pest Control until I get all equipment, Trouble Brewing, Imp hunting, maybe Chompy Hunting, but after getting 4000, I don't feel any motivation to continue

Hmm i guess my plan now is to continue my goal of 99 def and 85 slayer and 99 mage and hp.

 

THen i just keep killing abby demon till im rich or something.

What I do for fun on Runescape, these days, is not play at all. Sadly. I know that isn't the reply this topic was particularly looking for... but still. I was a merchant at heart. After the Grand Exchange killed that, I kinda did some other stuff but I've never really liked skilling.

 

 

 

I bought a month of p2p just to have a bit of fun last week and then dueling, pking, and anything else was destroyed. I was actually wanting to start up a little mage pker (nothing big.. just for goofying around). Plus, I wouldn't be able to get any items/gold to any other accounts to help level it up because I can't hand over anything to my friends without it being considered an unfair trade.

 

 

 

Honesty: not playing Runescape at all is about as fun as Runescape gets for me in light of all these recent BS updates.

Though i admit,clues are now a little less exciting due to the wilderness update.

Skilling. Like always. Thieving. Cant fletch anymore..Yew longs prices have gone down and Yew logs are still high. So yep. No way to make Geepee. So i'm going back to skilling and chatting.
