Alright- we have games rooms in our POHs, correct? The highest level chest can hold up to 50k for the winner of a game... if a RWTer threw a game over and over again, deposting more money for the chest, they could trade a large amount of cash in a smallish amount of time... (if this has been changed already and I missed it, please tell me...)

 

 

 

Theoretically this could also be done with treasure rooms... best chest, lowest level monster, get prize over and over again...

They can't hold much. Its cut down to the same 3k limit again if I remember correctly.

Well, it's either an oversight, or this was intentional for JaGEx in 2 ways:

 

 

 

1) Construction is supposed to be a money drain. Chest is one thing that drains a cr*pload of cash... think of the whole house!

 

 

 

or

 

 

 

2) This is an indication that trade limits will be lifted in the next 6 to 8 months. Or by Jan 2009. This is to make sure almost all RWTers are gone out of the game. One year is more than enough to make gold-farmers and account-farmers leave the game completely.

It's something that can always be change later, and maybe if we have a serous discussion about it here & the thread creator would kindly change the name to something more on topic, it might become something Jagex will see as 1.5k reward from a 900k chest is a little well **** -.- to be fair.

I think that this is one of the stupidist things JaGeX has ever done, simply because there is absolutely no point in building a better treasure chest...
