I always assumed Saq was much younger then most of us.

23 now, started playing runescape at 13, didn't join TIF until I was 16. Quit runescape around 16-17 as well ironically

 Girls want sex just as much as guys, but with men typically being dominant and women being typically submissive you need to run the show. I've lost track of the fun I could have had by being more assertive. Women like sex. If they don't have it with you they will have it with someone else. If they aren't, they are probably secretly wishing someone had the balls to make a move. (It just occurred to me that some people reading this may be in high school, people in general are less comfortable with sex then and I'm referring to over 18s)

 

 

I think part of that is due to the slut stigma. Women are not afforded the socially acceptable opportunity to aggressively initiate. It's quite sad really. By being assertive you're giving her an opportunity she was uncomfortable grasping on her own. If the stigma didn't exist, I think a lot of women would naturally take the assertive role.

I can agree with the idea of being assertive. If you don't act like an [wagon] or make it weird and make it seem natural or "fun/playful" then chances are you're getting something. I guess waking up next to a girl for a couple years made me lazy in that aspect because I knew exactly what got her going. As for now, I've got to move the [bleep] on as it's been over 8 months since we broke up (after I found out she was sleeping with this one dude who has boundary issues) and I've been off and on single ever since (date here and there, but nothing came of it).

Yeah. A comedian did a really good routine on how men and women react differently to people whom they think are "better" than them. If a group of men see that one of their members is getting ahead of everyone else, they'll look up to him and go to him for advice. If a group of women sees one of their members getting ahead of everyone else, they gang up on her behind her back and bring her down to their level lol.

I forgot to add that conversely, if a member of the group starts lagging behind everyone else, men are like, "[bleep] 'em" whereas women are like "omg everyone stop what you're doing and give her all your attention!"

I think it's a case of certain women being brought up to feel ashamed about their own sexual desire and projecting out their insecurity onto so called slutty women. Kind of like those politicans who are aggressively involved in anti-gay campaigns, to an almost suspicious degree, and then later get caught with their pants down bonking a man haha

When does it become appropriate to confess I have a crush on someone, considering I've known him for a while, approached him yesterday and chatted for a bit (didn't really pay attention to the time, not sure how long that was)?

I like him and it seems like he likes me too, I think we would get along just fine.

Only thing is he lives in Alabama and I don't know how he feels about long distance relationships.

Also he mentionned an ex-girlfriend once but I have no idea if he would have gotten back with someone else yet.

It may be partially due to that, but I suspect it's due more to the fact that female sexuality is valuable. If a woman is giving it away cheaply (by being "slutty") it devalues other women not wishing to give it away so cheaply, hence it is in women's interests to shame that person. Most men, on the other hand, would be thrilled if every woman was a "slut".
